KINGS SQUARE

You can buy almost anything you need here but it needs a revamp. An undercover shopping complex would be fantastic and get lots of people visiting I'm sure.

Gone down hill two smashed telephone boxes everything looking dirty and run down
Outside the library and toilet the walls and steps are full of dirt and grime with the obligitary graffiti.
The toilets used to be kept spotless but now before you go in the initial impression is of a dirty unkept toilet then one urinal is blocked off and to cap it all off there are 3 cubicles where one is blocked off and not working and another does not have a door at least we have a complimentary cubicle.
Overall Kings Square has gone down hill where even the main council building has seen better days surrounded by a dirty unkept looking shopping area.
Sorry for such a bad review but the area used to be a pleasure to visit.
Perhaps the council could start using the money that they now charge for parking in previously free car parks to good use in the community.

Few shops but looking awful. Loads of charity shops and shops to sell jewelry. Shop fronts boarded. Graffiti and dirty looking shopping area. Rarely go there except to pick up occasional order from Wilko. We could do with a main undercover shopping area not bitty shopping areas all over the place.

Hazel needed proscription filled two main chemist near each other.=first chemist only one member of staff on duty.Minimum time to fill proscription one hour I was unable to wait elected for second chemist it was a disaster hand in script.it was for tablets that told me ten mins so I waited that then commenced serving eight people iwas still waiting after 40mins I demanded the script back only then did that fill out my script what chemist am I referring to Boots customer service skills need attention so if you visit a chemist check out the time then hopefully that will complie

It's ok used to be better plenty of charity shops a Gregg's banks and some other stuff the park around the back of the shops is quite nice

A great monumental building in Barry, in need of more investment in small businesses !!

Nothing here. Used to be a fountain but they got rid of that and out down some marble slabs and blocks, look alright but there is literally nothing here.

Vehicles parked in public space and a homeless camp outside Town Council offices. Hardly the best the Square has looked over the years
