It's great to have fresh produce on your door step every week. I would love it even more if they had some local organic dairy and other organic produce.

The veg stall is rammed with quality produce. Always good for some absolute units of vegetables. Don't get there too late or you'll miss all the best stuff / deals. The traders there are always friendly and will give you good deals.

Locals will know that the Talbot Green Market was once a much bigger affair, every weekend, loads of people and many stalls, selling allsorts. Then it disappeared completely and that was that.

Now it's back and although it's on a much smaller scale, it's still market trading, selling lots of this and that and I'm pleased to see it. There's something about a bit of bartering and banter I love when buying and it means that value for money, it cannot be beaten by any shop.

I'm particularly impressed with the fruit and veg guys (we go through loads of fruit and veg) and I can't recommend them enough. The food is always fresh, with plenty of choice and price wise, absolutely outstanding.

Not as big as the market once was, but still worth a look.

Not open til 2pm as advertised here and everywhere else. All vendors leave by 1pm, so don't bother in the afternoon. Very frustrating when you turn up to an empty car park!

Bought about £25 worth of fruit (supermarket equivalent) for a fiver! Won't be shopping anywhere else for my fruit and veg. Nicest, freshest, juiciest fruit with the friendliest service.

Must place to visit is Welsh Cake Wonders. Delicious variety of Welsh cakes and loaf cakes. You'll need to get there early before sell out.
