ScS - Sofa Carpet Specialist

Went to fross park in Leicester to scs looking for a sofa . They guy who helpt me was very supportive too me and gave me loads of time ect . He was very helpful and wish I had asked on cousins in lighter colour he offerd to put in with my order but I forgot .
He was very understanding and patient and to me that means a lot . I hope you get to see this and if do thank you so much .

Excellent service

We visited the ScS shop in Fosse park Leicester to purchase sofas today 2nd May 2022.

We were served by Anup who was very helpful in enabling us identify the right sofa for our home.

He was not pushy and we indeed left the shop and visited nearby sofa shops before we decided the ScS had better ranges and affordable prices.

We ended up buying a two seater, a three seater and a lamp table. We also bought a conservatory two piece settee and are looking forward to having these delivered.

Anup managed our expectations by informing us that the conservatory settee will arrive in about 3 to 4 weeks, but the rest is likely to be delivered August September time. So although it is a long wait, we are excited to open these at that time, so something to look forward to.

Meanwhile, our old sofa was also bought in ScS and that was in 2014. It was a leather corner sofa, still in very good condition but we want to spruce up our house and not with leather 🙈

Very disapointed & shocked by the treatment we recieved by one of the fosse park scs customer service (Kash) yesterday.

We got to the store , patiently waited 20mins before we where attended as he was “busy”

When he finally came to attend to us,He was very brush & impatient to answer questions about the actual sofas we wanted to purchase. All he seemed interested in was to sell the protection plan - When we expressed that unfortunately another store had offered a better deal on the same sofa , he proceeded to state that “WELL THIS WAS A WASTE OF MY TIME” & Threw the paper he was holding towards the other direction.

This is a shock as we had two children with us. I expressed to him that this was an unacceptable way to speak to customers & behavior . We recieved No apology. He proceeded to go off chatting with his collegue, laughing arrogantly, checking his phone- I guess thats a better way to spend his time than answer customer questions.

Surely if im buying a £4,000+ sofa i have the right to ask questions, withought being told its a waste of time.

Avoid this business, sales very slick as you would expect, however trying to get money back you are owed is like wading through treacle, we agreed a price, the wrong carpet was delivered meaning the fitter had to come back twice. I had to travel 60 miles to prove it was the wrong carpet and cannot seem to get my money back for the extra fitting charge for the second visit. Shake hands in one of their stores, pay the deposit and let the games begin. Nice and shiny up front but terrible after sales promises promises that are never fulfilled. Unless you enjoy a good old headache and inconvenience move on!

Thomas was a great salesman and really listened to what we wanted and helped with our choices. It was ordered on 2/8/22. However Gary the "Leicester manger" has ignored both my emails about arranging delivery and I am getting close to cancelling. I still haven't got oit. They're trying to deliver it tomorrow after they text me at 5.11pm today informing me. Of course I can't reply to change it. I will not be there to collect it tomorrow. Absolute disgrace.

Hate these shop you feel like prey waiting to be pounced on but Charles in the one at Fosse Park was great and totally understood. I've made an appointment to see him.

I will never ever buy anything from ScS again they don't care about customer all they want is your money, they told me they deliver my orders on first week of December but now they say different date

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the sofas (paid £2400) and the after care service. The leather started peeling off, the recliner mechanism was making a "clanking" noise, the springs were "popping" as you sat on the sofa. The delays were ongoing and in the end I was told the warranty period is over . . . They are very keen on taking the money however when it's the customer that needs the service it's a complete different story. To say that I am unhappy is an understatement. Went to the Leicester branch a couple of times however as it wasn't a "sale" nobody wanted to know, absolutely disgusted with the whole experience. Never ever again that's for sure.
