Contours Day Spa

We came for my mums girly birthday lunch on a recommendation and it was lovely. The food was fresh and delicious and the views were fantastic. Would highly recommend. We want to try the spa facilities next and the afternoon tea. We will be back soon.

After really looking forwards to a spa day here, wishing that I could leave positive comments, I am sad to say this is not the case.
Yes first impressions are fantastic, the views are wonderful, you could be anywhere in the world.
But that then stopped there, my experience didn't go smoothly, I was left waiting around, with very little communication, drinking water did not arrive in the spa, the steam room was smelling very musty, a member of staff stated the smell was due to back to back bookings, which made me anxious.
My massage was ok but there were no showers.
The service in the cafe was extremely poor, lacked in excellant customer services, food was very disappointing.
Shame really due to location being ideal, sadly don't imagine recommending Contour Spa and the Green Kitchen any day soon.

Went for a spa day on Saturday. Supposed to be in at 12. Got completely ignored until 12.20. Then taken downstairs to a very musty steam room and sauna. The hot tub was luke warm and only 1 set of jets worked. Changing area is tiny (as big as a downstairs loo) however there is 4 lockers in their.....its just big enough for 1. We were told water would be brought to us but never ever got it. Left in the area for 1hr 10 mins before someone came and told us we'd go for our treatment in 10 mins. 15 mins later someone else came down and told us we had to wait another 10 mins. The treatment (full body massage was fantastic!) After we got changed we went to the restaurant where we had pre ordered food. After 20 mins we had to chase it up and still had to wait again because no one knew where the order was. When it did turn up it was bloody awful 😖
Service was terrible but what do you expect when the place was run by kids!

This is a manicure with a view! I absolutely love coming for my nails done here. I love the atmosphere, the staff, being able to get a coffee in whins green kitchen which is attached to the spa. My last biab manicure lasted 4 weeks with no lift, no chips, only my own nail growth, I could have gone longer had I not wanted a change.

Here they use quality products, the staff are extremely talented and knowledgeable.

The only problem is its so nice, I never want to leave!

We had a wonderful afternoon here yesterday starting with a 2 course lunch at whins green kitchen.
Then had exclusive use of the spa for an hour which was just enough before having our treatments. Very relaxing. Staff were super helpful. We will definitely be back. Our new favourite place.

So the spa experience was nice but not long enough and the hour you get includes shower time as the next people are booked in straight after. The massage I had was amazing and the only reason I've given any stars at all. What I'm really let down by is that I left fave swimming costume there by mistake. It was hung up in the treatment room and I phoned them straight away when I got home and told them exactly where it was. They said they'd get back to me but they didn't. After several phone calls and an email noone has got back to me about it and it's left me really disappointed. Even if they couldn't find it which I find hard to believe as I told them where I'd left it I would expect a courtesy call to say this but nothing. Sad times.

I rang up today on the off chance of getting an appointment and was delighted to discover they had an appointment available later in the day. I arrived a little early but my treatment started later than planned as the previous person arrived late but it was absolutely fine as I was kept informed by a few members of staff. Charlotte was very apologetic but it was out of her control. I was taken downstairs into the spa, it was so clean and smelt lovely. I had an 85 minute back, face and head massage and it felt wonderful. So relaxing. Charlotte was polite, professional and chatty. My first experience at Contours but definitely won't be my last. The views from upstairs are amazing and the cafe looked wonderful.

Thank you to Lesley for allowing me to use my birthday voucher which I received before lockdown. I had the most wonderful facial . I must say a big thank you to Charlotte my therapist. What a lovely person, so friendly and engaging and very professional.
I felt so relaxed and chilled and my skin felt lovely for some time.
I would highly recommend and hopefully will be back for further facials.
