Had a lovely and relaxing spa day here. The deal we had was amazing value for money. The treatments were fantastic and the staff are lovely and caring. Only criticism is that the spa facilities are quite small for how many people use them and the pool side loungers were empty for the two hours we were there but ‘reserved’ with towels so people couldn’t use them. Apart from that would 100% recommend a spa day here!

Bought a spa day voucher as a gift for friends. It took them almost 8 months to get booked in and the communication was apparently atrocious. They said the place was extremely busy and that they were lucky to get beds by the pool. They also didn't receive the bottle of prosecco included in their package. Seems like nu spa have massively oversold their services and are now struggling to cope.

Received a voucher from my mum as a gift. Called to book in within the voucher time but couldn’t get in for months. I had to take a day annual leave to go and then it was cancelled an hour before we were due to come on the day.

I appreciate sometimes these things happen and we were offered two course lunches to apologise which was appreciated but this was back in June 2022 and still yet to get another date/have this honoured.

The spa is impossible to communicate with - the phone is never answered and we have gotten nowhere with email correspondence. I requested over and over to please send next availability with treatments at the same time. It has taken that long to book in I myself won’t be able to use many of the spa facilities or treatments as I’m 5 months pregnant. Request ignored every time and offered treatments 1 or 2 hours a part with no explanation or indication why my request ignored. Just feels incredibly frustrating.

I think the spa has oversold on vouchers/deals if people can’t book in for months and months and the communication has been shocking. I emailed to make a complaint weeks ago to the manager and request refund instead as seems to be impossible to rebook at a reasonable time and received no response at all from the manager. Incredibly disappointing.

I can’t comment on the treatments or facilities which may well be lovely once you eventually get in but would not recommend to anyone based on my experience so far.

I will keep pursuing refund as the service has been substandard and not provided what they have promised.

Disappointed from start to finish. My daughter booked a. Spa day for us a birthday treat. The day before I travelled to my daughters ready for our weekend together a 2 and a half hour drive. The following morning my daughter thankfully checked her emails to find she had been notified by email only a few minutes before that they could not honour the booking. No phone call or any other communication at all so had she not checked her email we had of areived and drove a further 30 minutes. The lady did give my daughter a refund and included a light bite lunch and we rescheduled which was greatfulu received aftee the travelling and costs . We arrived on the day with not a very friendly welcome at all and my experience of my full body massage was the worst I've ever had. My full body massage with hot stones was a massage carried out more with hands than stones, and included half a back massage , my arms and my calves. During the massage there were lots of pauses in between, I'm not sure what the young girl was doing, other times a lot of noise and a timer located next to my right ear that beeped. I have never experienced a massage like it. No flow and not a relaxing experience half of body massage not full I.e no shoulders neck, hands, full legs or feet. Although she did climb under the bed to get a hot flannel at one point to wipe my feet evwn thoigh she didnt even touch them. A very strange experience to open your eyes and see hands reaching under your bed and then a warm steam from the flannel come up... I am confident that she may have been new and training which ia fine if you are told and your not paying full price. My daughters experience was better she did actuay get a full body massage.
Included in the day was a bottle of prosecca, on this occasion we were both driving so was told we could take it home. However we were then told the delivery wouldn't arrive till after 3pm if we were happy to wait..The most unorganised place ive ever been would never go back and would not recommend. Far from relaxing a big disappointment overall.

Had the pleasure of the afternoon tea and spa package today. Facilities were top notch, clean and well looked after. The treatment I received from Caitlin was first class. All staff members are really attentive and professional. I will definitely be looking to book again.

Bought vouchers and couldn’t book in for months so was advised I would get a refund and someone would call me back the next day. Still never received my refund and the spa in absolutely impossible to get intouch with. Ignore your emails and never pick up the phone. Hand on heart the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They’ve taken my money and literally ignoring me. I’m going to have to travel to the spa just to get in contact with someone. Don’t book this place because if you need to speak to them there literally the rudest place I’ve ever experienced.

It is extremely disappointing that Radisson Blu are happy to take people's money, without providing a proper service. However, we are also extremely frustrated that we cannot get in touch with the Spa. There is a continual message that says their staff are busy - so they either need more or better trained staff to offer a satisfactory customer response.
Don't buy vouchers from this Group, as they are just frustrating to try and deal with.

1 star is for the therapist who gave a lovely massage.

Voucher from March, booked for mum's 60th birthday. 1st booking cancelled 1 hour prior to arrival day off at work already taken.

Second booking, 1 hour before treatment time called again to be advised we couldn't have together but an hour apart, was given drinks and snacks from previous cancellation but didn't get them today due to mot being told. Package had prosecco had to chase this aswell. Girl dropped of at bar for bar man to bring to table apparently she was afraid of me!!! How does that make me feel, I was not rude or aggressive at any point simply asked why I wasn't told about the things I was promised no apology.
Lunch we'll 1 gentle man serving, food came, chased deserts and my mam had a hair inside thr lemon tart.

We will not go back. Horrible experience.
