Came in for help with the brakes on my bike that needed a part replaced. Samuel was fantastic, made sure I got exactly what I needed and double checked which side was broken. Fantastic service, will definitely go back for any more parts or repairs, and this is where I originally bought the bike (5 years and going strong). Thanks!

First time shopping here and was blown away by how poor the customer service was. We waited by the tills as one of three members of staff served a customer and then waited again as all three chatted amongst themselves.

I then interrupted and asked if it was just self service or if they are available and was met with a kind yes and then a very uncomfortable and degrading eye roll.

It may sound petty but self service is something I still struggle with and often end up asking for help. So I often rather que up than risk looking dumb.

Any way, my point is customer service and value for money is what gets someone to come back. In the case of this store they have a long way to go.

Rob at Southampton Decathlon Bike Repair Shop was fantastic. So knowledgeable and helpful replacing our bike tires and so friendly. 10/10 customer service.

Great variety of sports clothes, energy powder drinks/ protein bars and any other items you need.
They cover many sports in there including mountain biking, sailing, swimming, hiking or running.
The prices were reasonable for most products but you do pay more for some items such as the bikes and e bikes they had on sale there.
I bought 2 29inch inner tubes and 2 packs of protein bars which cost me £15.96 which isn't to bad.
There's easy access by car as there is plenty of parking which you do need to pay for
Plus it's close to local bus routes.
Also if your a cyclist there are safe cycle routes nearby with places to lock your bike.

I moved out of a staff members way so they could get past with some boxes on a trolley and I got no thank you. Not only this but on my way to the checkout a member of staff pushed in front of me to find out a price of something without asking or saying sorry. Also very poor selection of bike parts. Very lucky to get two stars.

My partner and I were looking for a tent for our upcoming camping trip. We found one we really liked pretty quickly, however when we asked the girl to unlock it so we could buy it she just looked at my partner confused and walked away. We stood waiting thinking maybe she was getting some keys or something to unlock the tent. After 5 minutes or so we noticed that she was down a different isle hanging clothes up. I then smiled and waved for help at another staff member who just carried on walking straight past me even though we made eye contact. Finally we asked a third member for help but didn’t really seem to want to help us. He didn’t really communicate with us at all to be honest and didn’t even apologise when we waited 10 minutes for him to figure out how to open the till. To be honest it seemed like we were somehow making their job difficult? Plus the store was very untidy but we noticed members of staff just stood around hugging and chatting to each other.
Overall just terrible customer service.

I purchased a £120 coat from the Oxford Store on order, they took my money but the coat never arrived. I have tried to get my money back but no one has responded to me. Nothing to do with the Southampton store but no one at Decathalon is responding to me and I want my money back

Left to stand with error on the till. Then assistant sighed/tutted when realising they had to remove a tag for us.
