Temple Bowling Club

This is a superb local venue for a party with a lovely terrace overlooking the bowling green, a large bar area, large dance floor and stage if you have a band. You can also apply for a late licence.

What made it extra special was the huge effort that Janice and her team put into making our wedding party extra special. They decorated the room beautifully with lights, served our buffet and drinks and went out of their way to ensure our wedding party guests had a great time. A highly recommended great value venue for a wedding party or special occasion.

I joined this club in May of this year; and I could not have felt more welcome. They made it easy to join and the members are very friendly and inclusive. The facilities are excellent and the setting is lovely. If anybody wants to have fun and make new friends...Temple is the place to go.

Nice, very friendly bowls club established in 1881, with a green of 6 outdoor rinks (formerly 12) plus 3 indoor rinks upstairs above the club's bar and social area. Playing membership is small but has some very strong players.
On street parking is limited.

A very pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff. An excellent sports club. Five stars.
