Very happy with the service I received in store. The staff were helpful, patient and attentive. They checked my arches and my gait and listened to my history of issues with running and helped me find not only the right support from a shoe but also fit. I did numerous analyses of my gait with various shoes, they showed me the videos, and ultimately I bought a pair that were also onson (and werecheaper than online). I highly recommend the store and overall experience

Feel the need to share my experience in response to some of the low ratings - I had a really positive experience yesterday while looking for a pair of running shoes.

Roy was super knowledgeable and helpful and helped analyse my gait and running style, giving me actionable feedback on what I could do to address over-pronation. Felt that he went above and beyond to find options for my needs and budget and left a satisfied customer!

I was impressed by the service and flexibility of this shop and especially its Manager. I bought top rate Nikes, they were slightly too big, exchanged them without fuss for a half size smaller. He assessed my running style using their running machine, all helpful. I wanted the shop to know that I then, a week later, went on to win a team gold on the England Masters Athletics team in those new Nike Alphafly and leave for the World Championships tomorrow. Thank you team Nolgate London!

Very inconsistent service. I had some helpful advice about good running shoes on Saturday evening but it was about to close so I agreed to return Sunday. The person who I then spoke to couldn't have been less interested. Uninformed, impatient, surly and disinterested. When I asked to try on a couple of options he got the wrong shoes, wrong sizes and wrong colour and clearly didn't want to help. And just accused me of having 'the hump'.
Please provide some training. I'm a pretty easy customer to deal with.

A number of running websites suggest running trainers should last for 300-500 miles. I run a maximum of 5k 2-3 times a week and after 8 months the trainers developed a fault (sole peeling off on one foot). The trainers were otherwise in good condition and all my previous pairs have lasted much longer. The store did not accept the product as faulty and would not provide an exchange or refund.

Incorrectly fitted for an expensive pair of Asics running trainers. Not offered any other option or compensation to go towards a new pair as I no longer had the receipt and the store cannot access the transaction records.

Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff. Free gait analysis and a wide range of Nike and other brands available. It's the place to go to make sure you get the right fit for you.
