Well stocked shelves. Good range of proper sporting goods and clothing. Not just sports leisure wear like some of the other so called sports shops. Knowledgeable, polite and helpful staff. Useful lift to the upper floor but nice wide branching staircase if you don't require the lift.

Today we were served by an extremely helpful and professional lady called Charlotte. My husband went on to purchase 3 lots of footwear and she was both patient and accommodating where a change of size was required and very knowledgeable about the product's. The store was well stocked.

Thought I was getting a bargain as my item was down from £782.54 to £1.48. Apparently not a real bargain and not a real brand as is sports direct owned brand....

they don't answer the phone. I can't check stock so now I have to do a 30 min drive to the store, wish me luck.

I looked online and found some work shoes but I didn't want to pay for delivery, why would you when their shop is only 2 miles away. I went to the shop (Tuesday) and unfortunately the size was unavailable but a delivery was due in towards the end of the week. I was offered a delivery to shop option @ £4.99 but thought why should I pay for something that's being delivered anyway. I went back on Friday and had the same disappointment and same option. And again today Sunday. I also found out that ringing the branch is a waste of time as the staff, in their own words, never answer the phone. I would have thought in today's hi tech environment and epos till and ordering systems that a pair would be ordered as soon as one is sold. Imagine if I'd paid £4.99 and a pair may have been on the shelf anyway. I can't imagine the assistant saying "we're refunding your £4.99 because we already had them here". I think that the whole system exists to con the delivery charge out of customers. I even offered to pay the full price of the shoes on the Tuesday pending delivery but once again the £4.99 was quoted and I declined. It was also identified that a pair was in a store 15 miles away but couldn't be reserved as no-one answers the phone. I will point out that at no time did any staff say that these shoes would definitely be on any delivery. I will also add that Argos, Wilko, M&S and B&Q donot charge a penny for in store collections.

Sportswear and equipment suppliers. Large store, 2 floors, prices are superb. Well stocked with trainers , t-shirts and hoodies and everything for sports training. Vast array of equipment , everything from dartboards, golf balls and football gear, up to fishing tackle and hiking gear. I visited to purchase safety boots for work which were half price. Tamworth store also has a small branch of GAME (video games), on site. Staff aren't particularly enthusiastic about being there , but were friendly and helpful when we needed a query answering. Worth a visit just for the prices , lots of things were up to 50% off. Very busy (Saturday lunchtime).
