i went into the shop today to have my lottery tickets checked
the man behind the counter was unsmiling and unfriendly, i did not feel welcome i had won a small prize which he paid to me in a somewhat grudging manner.
when i left he told me to take my old tickets with me as he had no wastebin
i would not go that shop again. i'll go to sainsbury's where you can expect a smile and courteous service if i need any stationery i'll go to ryman's they are also courteous

They need to get rid of the self service checkout desk. I tried to pay, the machine got it wrong, the manager had to come and key in his password to reset it, then it wouldn't take my money... All this time the shop attendant just stood there looking at us. Not his fault but the paying system's.

Love the shop. Is really well stocked is convenient and it has a fantastic collection of interest g books and magazines.
The staff us extremely friendly and helpful.
I absolutely hate the self service till, majority of the time is a hindrance.

Great service. Especially a young man with dreadlocks, he is very patient and kind to customers. The overall manager is also great, she too is patient and helpful.

The staff at this branch have really improved over the last few months. Really friendly and helpful. Good range of magazines although the shelf space is reduced recently.

The prices are cheaper than places like waterstones and amazon. A wide variety of novels comics manga and stationery.

A little stationery shop which has the very basic. If you are looking for big selection and better choices then try a bigger WHSmith.

I find the staff really nice and helpful here. Especially a black gentleman with long-ish braids. He is welcoming and has gone out of his way to help me.
