Not a large store, but this branch does have quite an eclectic mix of magazines that I had not seen elsewhere and I'm always drawn in. Unlike most WH Smith stores that block their windows out with very large opaque graphics, this one has the magazines on shelves visable through the windows, so whilst you are waiting outside for your wife to finish shopping there is always one, or two, magazing covers that catch your eye, well it works on me! Staff are friendly and it is never too busy to quickly pop in and get what you want.

Not always keeping up with latest issue of magazines. A couple of times recently (including today) had to get a magazine from elsewhere. If other places are successful in getting their stock then larger organisations such as Smiths shouldn't have problem

Smallish store with Post Office within, almost always has a queue.Friendly and helpful staff.Noted that the magazine's around the post office queing area are nearly always damaged as the display racks are too shallow and they fall on to the floor .

Standard Smiths. Plenty of choice. Popular paperback novels and a plethora of celebrity autobiographies. Fairly good range of magazines as well. The Post office was functioning reasonably well.

They sometimes have the right magazine's but are sometimes late in getting the up to date ones. Otherwise a good store

Shopping experience was about what you would expect from WHSmiths. Not exactly warm and friendly but polite and efficient. Has a self-service till which sped up the otherwise slow service and long queue times.
Magazine and book selections are great. Staff seemed knowledgeable. The shop was well arranged, if somewhat cluttered by the doorway, but otherwise ordered and easy to navigate.

It's a good shop with much to look at. The problem with this branch is it's a bit gloomy the lighting needs changing to brighten up the store. The staff are not always available but they do have self surface. I have found the prices on some of the things a bit expensive but others quite reasonable. It's a curates egg of a place but an old standard of brand that keeps ticking like a faithful clock.
