Kayleigh.

The workers here were very helpful when I was in need of assistance! However, their products are in bad condition. When I went to buy a copy of a book, the cover was wrinkled. I asked for a new copy, and unfortunately, they had no more in stock! However, they did discount the price... they helped as much as possible with the assets they had, and they were very friendly doing so. They just need to keep more stock and rotate more often.

Very good. They have a vast selection of books and supplies to keep you going for a while. However, my biggest complaint for this place is that the books they have on offer in some sections (manga, comics and science are just a few that i have really noticed this in) the stock never seems to change and while this may be find cor some people it means that when i read a majority of a section such as manga you then have very few things to read and you are forced to look elsewhere.

A large and well stocked W H Smith located in a beautiful black and white Tudor style building close to the Eastgate Clock. There are escalators between all three floors and a glass lift in the centre of the shop. Some good quality Christmas cards among the big selection of cards on the ground floor, along with gifts, stationery, art supplies, magazines and sweets. The books are upstairs, some good titles and there's a wide choice of travel guides and some lovely jigsaw puzzles. Plenty of bargains to be found among the clearance stock in the basement. The main post office is here and there's also a photo booth. Bought a really good travel guide here. There only appeared to be tills on the ground floor but the cashier who served me was both friendly and helpful and service was quick.

Usual whsmith, less choice of travel books than previously but still good options. Great choice of cards for every occasions, and all current bestsellers.

Trying to support local stores within the city, lady in the store got very personal & abusive over hidden disabilities, i was asked about a mask, politely said i was exempt & showed my card, she then continued to say i should wear it on a lanyard & telling me her own beliefs, causing me stress & anxiety, she was very rude & unprofessional, not understanding at all, therefore in the wrong job. It's difficult enough to go out at the moment for a short period of time, so the added confrontation & stress isn't pleasant.
I will not be shopping in there again & can get the same products elsewhere
