Staff were lovely and welcoming. Service was great. And food was very taste And sides and dessert was so delicious 10/10

The Best Roast!
Sam was our waiter & his service was excellent. We were a party of 6 ladies & all our meals were served together,everyone enjoyed Sunday Roast.
Mine was enormous!! I had to take half home. All the veg was perfectly cooked,the meat so tender,the chicken was falling off the bone.....the lamb was melt-in-the mouth... we'll be visiting again soon.

Very disappointed. The rocket on starter was tired and wilted. Mains : steak bled all over the plate, Asked for medium not raw . Chips cold . Lasagne contained very little pasta and was stuck to the dish in places .Wrapped up the steak to take home for the dog.

Awful meals today! The House Stack Burger was dry not juicy, there was no BBQ sauce, poorly put together and not appetising at all. The burger didn’t look anything like the burger in the Menu. The other dish was the Beef and Ale Pie, there was no mash so we had to have chips. The chips were dreadful, thin, dry and cold. They look like they bypassed the fryer completely! The chips that came with the burger meal were also left because they were not palatable. The pie was nice but the peas were watery and cold. All in all very disappointing.

We’ve visited the Oast and Squire many times before and we’ve always enjoyed our experience and our meals. Apparently the place is ‘Under New Management’ which has to be the reason for the radical drop in standards. When we left leaving most of our food on our plates we noticed other tables had also left considerable amounts of food on their plates too. The tables where people had left had not been cleared.

Great atmosphere all round, good food and the waitets were really friendly and kept checking up on our table. Front of house greeted with a smile and was very accomodating.

Food was nice - burger, steak, chicken wings amongst the three of us. Steak cooked as ordered. Restaurant was busy, unusually for a Tuesday night i imagine. So service was slow, but we were warned when we took the table. Service was very pleasant, although part of our order was wrong but quickly resolved.

Went for out for our work Christmas do and the staff were amazing and food and drinks were lovely! Couldn't have asked for more, we all had a brilliant night and extra shout out to the staff of Kelly, Ben and Sh-Waynee 😜

We went for Christmas day dinner and the restaurant was absolutely full of families. Service was pleasant but slow as they seemed to need more staff and as it was so busy. The food was generous and tasted good but we had to send back two of our main meals as they were cold. This was dealt with no hesitation and anything I asked for such as extra gravy and sauce forms prawn cocktail was no problem. We were all so full we took our desserts home for later.
