We arrived around 6:45 on a Saturday evening without a booking as we were traveling past, didn’t intend to stop.
It seems we were lucky to get a table as they were busy, especially around 7-8 as there were queues of people waiting by the door. I overheard staff saying they’d seated 80 people in 1 hour, with two members of staff down!
We ordered burgers 🍔, which was the same as what we’d ordered a few weeks prior at a Beefeater in Hayes. Seeing as it was so nice.
Being completely honest it wasn’t quite as nice this time around, I had upgraded the fries and felt I’d received a smaller portion too. The chef had also forgot our halloumi starter which ended up coming out after we’d finished our mains - not worth the wait either as nothing special. But then it is pub grub I guess!
Our waiter was great, nice guy who was rushed off his feet! I also went to the bar a couple of times for drinks and the female was very nice.
Plenty of car parking outside. Toilets clean as to be expected.
I notice a sign claiming the manager is Rui Da Silva - interesting to know he’s not DJ’ing anymore!! 😉

I had double crispy. The food was good. More than food, the service from Mo was excellent. He was very funny, polite and helpful. Very very pleasant experience. Thank you, Mo!

Absolutely fantastic meal and even better service. All the staff seem happy to be at work and couldn't be more helpful

Family meal on a quiet Monday evening. Food quality was awful, standard of cooking and presentation dreadful. Our server was helpful and pleasant but the restaurant managers were condescending, rude and worked as little as possible whilst clearing the restaurant of paying customers so they can enjoy free drinks.

Turned up for a valentines meal. Took a while to be acknowledged for seating, more wait to get our drinks, more wait to take our orders which was from an valentines menu only, then after an hour of being there seated we were told they had lost our order and would we like to reorder our meals. Told them not to bother and left. The place was noisy and no effort to make it feel like a valentines evening. Certainly Won't go back again.

Food and wine not quality I expected.
Ordered a glass of Merlot, but it certainly wasnt.
The food was not the quality it should have been, crispy cauliflower was soggy, salt and pepper calamari was very small bits.
Vegan burger overcooked.
Chicken dish had cheese in it which was not on the menu...seems the food was made of of stuff that was 'left over'.
Not a place I would ever consider returning to. Doubt it had a proper chef!

Really has gone downhill over the last few years. Went again yesterday and booked for 7pm, to get a phone call nearly 5pm asking if we can come in at 6.30pm with some excuse. Got there expecting place to be packed but there was a few tables being used. Told only that the 3 course boxing day menu is available at £26.95. Ordered the turkey and trimmings and the potatoes were overdone. I asked if they can take the plate back, but they said they will make some fresh roasties. Took so long that I had eaten the rest of the dinner (which was superb). Understood that they wanted us in early so they can close up the kitchen early.
