Wales Air Ambulance Charity Shop (Caernarfon)

Visiting Caernarfon on a very wet September day I was very glad to seek shelter and have a browse in this wonderful charity shop. I couldn’t find anything major that I either needed or wanted but a Robert Harris paperback caught my eye priced 75p. Scrabbling around in the pockets I found not a penny but unlike many other charity shops who won’t allow payment by bank card under £5 I was able to do so in this shop. How useful! Happy customer.
Now several days later I couldn’t find my wallet with driving license bank card etc in and after searching every pocket of every garment and the whole of our mobile home I realised I had lost my wallet. Intensive questioning by my wife and examining our bank records indicated that my last payment was in this shop and a quick Google search and a phone call established that I had left my wallet in the shop but it was safe in the safe! I picked it up on my way home to Manchester and would like to say thanks to the staff for their kindness and helpfulness. I will think of them every time I get my wallet out and maybe I will be more careful about putting it safely away in future!
