Do not come here. First of all the kitchens don’t get cleaners not even once a term so you can only imagine what it’s like if you was to get unlucky and end up with dirty flatmates and all the dirt and mess accumulates up, with no one cleaning it. It’s disgusting you couldn’t cook in such environment. Even the bin you’ll have to change it yourself and they don’t even provide the flat with bin bags. All the other student accommodations in essex gets cleaner weekly so I would recommend going there. When the kitchen gets dirty (even if it’s not your fault!) they will charge you which is totally unfair because the mess will not be yours it will be your dirty flatmates and it’s just totally wrong to charge STUDENTS for something that is out of their control.

Full name : Ieong Tin Chan. I lived there for 10 months. Receptionist and security guard are very nice and helpful. 24/7`available to take parcels. Room is good enough for students. I really like the big water pressure of the shower. Bin rooms are clean and not smelly. Keep it up!

I spent my time there for one year during my master in University of Essex. The room was amazing. and staff was so lovely. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a nice and cosy student accommodation.

Probably the best student accommodation in Colchester. Very close to town and amenities. Bus to uni is across the road. Studios are very well equipped and comfortable. Reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly and helpful!

I enjoyed living in Host for my second year of uni, the reception people were very friendly and helpful with any issues. The rooms/kitchen are nice with decent storage space and the internet speed was amazing especially with my lectures mostly on zoom. The location is good as well as your close to the town and train station
The covid pandemic was handled well as everything was well planned should anyone got covid
The only advice id give is to buy a heater as the heating in the room isnt the best.
If you have a car, there a several multi-storey buildings to park your car and you can get a 3 month or year car pass which is what i did and had no issues with my car. The car park is also a 5 minute walk.
