Lovely rooms, staff always present and very good wifi. Not massively social but that suited me personally coming for my Masters.
The study spaces are handy for when the library is full or you can't get to campus.
The minimalist gym is perfect for stretching or infrequent training (probably not for regular training).
It's a good 20-30 min hike into campus, but you're right by the town.

For me the only major downside was noise. The building's layout just seems to carry sound upward. Several times in the year, when my window was open, I was woken up at night. The night staff do work tirelessly to keep this down though.

Given the rooms aren't cheap and the sound carried I can't give it the full 5*s.
4* for me

Dirty and filthy accommodation. My work booked us this for a week and we walked into old food on the floor hair clumps over the shared living space and in the rooms. One tiny saucepan provided to cook with in a self catering place. Asked for a bath towel for myself and my two colleges got given 1 bath mat. The staff or as clueless as the rooms are bad. Disgusting worse place I’ve ever stayed at

This place is in a great location and the staff are very friendly. But our apartment was filthy, it hadn't been cleaned before we checked in yet we was told to leave by ten so that the cleaners could clean it ready for the next guests.

They are not very organised, and their cleaning isn't good, I needed to clean when I moved into the room. But it is a safe place and staffs are polite.

They don't refund fees paid in advance. We could not find a UK guarantor to complete the application. I paid more than £200 and I still wait for a refund. This is unacceptable!

Printworks is a good dormitory, and I have encountered no issues with my room. The staff are generally friendly and willing to help, and the location is excellent. However, value-wise, Printworks cannot compete to neighbouring accomodations, and the state of the communal facilities, including: most of the kitchens (stoves, sinks, ovens, countertops), the Game room (pool table + Füßball) and the gym are outdated and underwhelming. Although Printworks is not the most competitive, I have so far enjoyed my time here, and might even renew for next year.

Good luck to all prospective students!

Good value for money, nice accommodation, bed is not double bed it's smaller size than double, only good for 1 person to sleep, struggling for 2 people. Kitchen size was good and cutlery was fine, good central location, no free parking, but lots of paid parking around, all shops and food places nearby. Accommodation is basic standard as its good for students mainly but it was reasonably priced. Gave 4 stars as bed was small size, 2 people struggling to sleep, also windows open on main road and Also in back communal area, very noisy at night time so have to close windows to sleep at night. Survived as I had fan with me. Overall its a good neat place to stay

My boyfriend booked to stay here for 3 weeks, right at the beginning of his stay he got track and traced and had to self-isolate. He told reception (to be polite) and they said it was fine. Later that day he got a phone call from someone else at the company telling him that he couldn't self-isolate there and he had to leave that day (despite the fact the company actively advertises themselves as somewhere to quarantine). When he told them that he had nowhere to go and he would end up on the streets if they kicked him out he was told that they didn't care what happened to him, he had to leave immediately. They offered him his money back but that doesn't help when you have nowhere else to stay for the night and it's already the late afternoon.
So what I'm saying is when you book with this company don't rely on them actually letting stay in the flat you book and pay for.
Also, whilst the staff on reception were always lovely, it seems that the higher ups have little regard for their customers.
(Realised whilst writing it that my 2 star review was actually far too nice so down to 1 star)
