First of all, Pacific Court has great rooms. The building is fairly new, and it has got everything you need to feel comfortable, from cozy beds, to big desks, both being great for students
Secondly, there are many facilities around here. Two big supermarkets, 2 tube lines, Overground, restaurants and a wonderful bakery all within 10 min walk
Lastly, this student accommodation has a great vibe and social life. Shah, the building manager makes sure everyone is welcome, and has a place at the many organised events!
Overall, a great place to spend time in your uni life!!
The rooms are very good with some of them (like mine) having spectacular views of Canary Wharf.
The building's manager Shah is one of the nicest persons I've met and makes sure that students' needs are taken care of.
A warm, friendly environment and a definite recommendation!!
There are a lot of things that make Pacific Court so great, but one of the most unique advantages that PC has over other accommodations is the man who sits at the reception: Shahajan Miah (Shah).
Not only does he try his best to make everyone in the building feel like this place is their home, he really works hard on trying to bring people together via parties and social events.
My first year here he managed to organize almost 30 different events and parties over the course of 12 months.
During my second year here, Shah hired some of the residents from multiple buildings (myself included) as student ambassadors to help him with the organisation of these events. And honestly to set up a party and advertise the event to get people to show up is a lot more work than it seems.
Yet somehow Shah has managed to make Pacific Court a well known social hub for the past i don't even know how many years.
I don't know if I would have necessarily made the friends that I did if it weren't for Shah's efforts.
