So yesterday boarded the bus to go home like I usually do but my oyster wasn't registering anything. Receive a ticket from the driver to pay fare at a later date.
I then went to Caledonian tube station to see if they could resolve the problem. The assistant Lauren, her manager and a male colleague went above and beyond to rectify the issue with my card. I now have a oyster that works.
I would like thank them for the service they provided. I truly appreciate the time they took to ensure I would be able to use my oyster today. This is what customer service looks like. A big thank you to Lauren & the staff at Caledonian tube station.

Lovely traditional front to this small Picadilly Line only station, one stop from Kings Cross. There are two lifts and lots of stairs, no escalator. Time Out is handed out here, also Metro, Evening Standard and Stylist. Staff are always friendly and the lifts seem to work well. This Easter they are collecting eggs for the children at Great Ormond St hospital so please donate!

Close to a number Of handy shops. There is a couple of list which take you down to the Picadilly line platforms. These are fairly regular, and combined with the regularity of Picadilly line tubes, it’s all makes for a nice experience.

Historic station with a frequent service to central London and Heathrow. And practical too- the station dates from 1906 and was built with lifts straight to the platforms, meaning it's totally step free and has been for 113 years. Handy!

The station is safe and comfortable, which alludes to Caledionia, France

A small station but so handy for local residents as there really isnt many tube options around. Picadilly line runs here with only one stop to Kings Cross to connect with many other tube and national rail services. Has lifts straight to platform. Staff are always readily available and friendly.

What can you say about Caledonian Road? Well I for one have a place in my heart for it as I have lived here or very close for most of my life. Most of my memory is good cause the people who I've met along my journey have been lovely fun professional kind and generous. I love this place and it's only the people who have made it so. I live very close to the station now and look forward to spending my time here...
