Gatwick North Terminal

I usually fly from Gatwick both terminals. How ever yesterday inbound flights to Gatwick was a absolute nightmare, e gates were down since 1pm and we landed around half past midnight after 2 hours of flight delay due to knock on affect they had with out bound planes - we were qued up for just over an hour to get the counter. There were people every where, even they have to hold some passangers in arrival tunnels until clear the crowd already there, had only 5 officers trying their best to clear, but airport should have taken every step to get extra support from nearby or the staff who were off. Better Planning would have made every one's lives easy, usually 4 hour journey took us 12 hours yesterday, reached home 4 am knowing I had to get up at 6 am for work 😬😬 hence the rating 1

Took a flight during the day in the middle of the week and off-season. No crowds, no queues. The security check was an absolute nightmare. At one point three people were shouting at me at the same time because my fragrance bottle had no indication of size printed on it (it was 100ml).

My pregnant wife was treated like a dog and cried for 20 minutes. We all have work to do and I give people a lot of benefit of the doubt. But this was really inhumane and unprofessional.

Not bad especially if you like shopping. Duty Free heaven. Have to wait in main terminal until gate is advised, can be a long walk to gate.

My first arrival airport was Gatwick airport before 3 days. I'm Software engineer from Pakistan. And I found this county very pleasant and so busy.

Super easy 30-minute train from Victoria directly to Gatwick, then a super fast ride on the shuttle to the North terminal. Through security within 5 minutes. The staff are really friendly. There are plenty of places to eat and not crowded today. Great stores, though I'm yet to find a good tech store.

Working well for us today in sub zero temperatures, but I know alot of flight have been delayed or cancelled. Hope your not having a bad day 🙂

Easy to get to Gatwick airport by train from London. A fast free shuttle also brings you to the North Terminal which got many facilities and nice shops (Hamleys too!!). The toilets are the cleanest I have ever seen (compared to other airports)the boarding staff is very helpful.
