Worst station EVER for announcements. No direction given when there delays which is quite often these days. This has been happening for some time now and nothing seems to change. I hear passengers moan about lack of announcements all the time. How can this be acceptable.

Useful station on Metropolitan Line, with services to Amersham, Chesham, Watford and Uxbridge, together with Chiltern Railways services to Aylesbury and Aylesbury Vale Parkway. New lifts are under construction but, meanwhile, Harrow on the Hill Station is not disabled friendly.

Considering the lift has only just recently been opened, it was pretty grim inside. That was from the College Road entrance. Always pretty busy here, nice that they have made it more accessible to all

I had the most unpleasant member of staff being totally rude to me when I asked her to confirm the next train to my station. I can imagine why she was in such a bad mood but no need to take it out on other passengers.

The google page states there are toilets but this is no longer true as since the installation of a lift they have removed them. There is a toilet in the adjacent bus station but it is permanently locked. There are no boards stating southbound (in to central London) service times/ destinations in the ticket hall however, there are two boards for northbound services. This is an old and nearly derelict station, it’s a great example of TFL’s disdain for customer comfort (removing toilets) and incompetent information services (lack of southbound service board). Finally, staff never, ever stop fare jumpers.
