Well it's a tube station on the Circle Line and the District Line. The entrance is halfway up, or down Queensway. It only has stairs so no disabled access and buggy's are a ball ache. It has plenty of ticket machines, is pretty clean and tidy and has the usual complement of bored looking staff loitering around. However they always seem to keen to answer tourists questions and help them on their way. Circle Line trains going counterclockwise are less frequent then District Line trains and the wait can be quite long, but hey what else have we got to do?

Small cozy station with lifts. Central line. Sometimes it gets overcrowded around the lifts, and it can be long wait for the next lift to arrive. And sometimes it is difficult to get on it. Access to platforms only via lifts.
Definitely very busy and overcrowded during rush pick hours.
The road is full of shops, cafés, restaurants, money exchanges and various amenities, tourists orientated. Only 2 minutes walk to Hyde Park.
Unfortunately the street outside of station seems a bit dirty and messy.

The area surrounding the station is quite dirty, messy and drab. The station itself however is easily accessible and is typically less busy than some of the other key underground stations. When you pass through the gates you can either walk down an enormous flight of stars, or alternatively get the lift down. If it is busy the lift can become quite crowded and a line can form, one of the main downsides to this station. I would recommend considering another station if you require good accessibility

A very convenient station but bottlenecks really easily due to lack of escalators going up and down. You’re stuck with two rickety old lifts which are super sensitive to the slightest body movement and you end up waiting for a bit until they close again.

Central Line is very handy but always very crowded but connects well to the Jubilee, Piccadilly, Victoria, Northern and Bakerloo lines if you are eastbound. Circle and District are westbound at Notting Hill Gate.

Zone 1 . No step-free access. Busy and tight central line station. 2 lifts , if one lift not working take the spiral stairs. Very close to Bayswater station for Circle and District lines. . Central line is 24hrs on fridays and saturdays on most of the line ( check TFL website ). No toilets ( awful public toilets opposite on the edge of Hyde Park ) . Many hotels , B & Bs and cafes nearby. Get your phone or computer fixed in Queensway Computer Market in Queensway. Late night and lively area. Visit the Princess Diana playground in nearby Kensington Gardens.

Closest tube station to our hotel on this trip. Strong calf muscles required if you want to do the stairs up, otherwise you’ll have to wait on the lifts, one of which is currently down for repairs.

A beautiful station with trains into the City of London every 2-4 minutes. If you're going on District/Circle lines, don't change at Notting Hill Gate. Instead walk 2 mins to Bayswater station.

A very lively part of London, fame for the many restaurants and retail outlets.

The London Underground Tube station is called Queensway and it is on the Central Line that starts at Ealing Broadway.

The station is small, clean and not complicated. The only thing I don't quite like about it is the lift that can be crowded with long queues at peak hours. The spiral staircase is not very user friendly.

Note that there are only 2 entrances and exits. One leads to the popular restaurants along Queensway.
