Becontree

Small local station serving the Becontree area.
Quite disappointingly ​there's no entry/exit ramp on either platforms for wheelchair users and buggies- just stairs, so if that's something you require you'll have to get off/on at either the next or the past station.

Two machines are available (one larger and one smaller) to top up your Oyster card or purchase a new one.

There's also a tiny cafe with reasonable prices and a small store selling a wide variety of snacks for your journey.

Plenty of sitting spaces available either outside or in a small waiting area where toilets are available, but only open during the day on weekdays.

This station is not buggy or wheelchair friendly. It has quite steep steps too. It has 2 self service machines accepting cards, coins and cash. It houses a small newspaper shop.
It's fairly busy.
It's about 5 minute walk to Parsloes Park and about 10-15 minute walk to Dagenham Heathway Station.

I can only assume it is a nightmare for wheelchair users and those who have buggies as there is no step free access. I have also observed a small number of people jumping over the barriers to avoid paying. Apart from that, a well maintained station which has toilets.

In the station, it’s pretty nice. A waiting room, toilets, abandoned LTSR platforms. There are local shops near by such as Martins to provide your Oyster card top up needs. Local bus routes 62 and 145 provide connections to local areas such as Dagenham, Barking and Chadwell Heath. Best station in Becontree.

Fish is ok. But kebab meat and chips are very small but very dry. Like sitting there all they. Disappointing. Only good thing i had fish otherwise kebab is bin. Not edible.

Once again closed due to staff shortage this morning. Inconvenience to many customers trying to get to work. TfL really need to sort this out, as it keeps happening.
