This store along with many others has to decide if it is a petrol station or a supermarket. At the moment it is doing both very poorly. Mainly due to poor staffing levels and Inconsiderate customers leaving there vehicle on pumps then doing there weekly shop. This causes ques out onto the road that is dangerous.

This place is frequently busy as the fuel can often be cheaper than elsewhere in the area. So one has to be prepared to wait, though I today I didnt need to It's one of the better places for stocks of disposable gloves, hand towels & bins at each pair of pumps, although darned if I could find gloves today, & NO hand sanitiser inside the store. I like this mini Tesco. Items are often reduced, even fresh produce, there's lots of different items on the shelves & it's quick & easy to walk around, which is important for disabled folk like myself. Only wish there were more than 2 disabled parking spaces in the small parking area around the pumps. With no gloves or hand sanitiser, I did no shopping today as my hands stank of fuel /fumes. Last gripe, fuel is up 40p per ltr since a year ago, to £1.79. Today a fill-up cost me £109. I'm already tightening my belt due to increased utility costs. Now the time is approaching when I'm going to have to make decisions about which car journeys are absolutely essential, difficult when I can't walk much 😒

Always a massive queue since they put all the self service checkouts in, nightmare to get in and out of due to the time it takes to get in and out. Buy all my fuel elsewhere now

Every member of staff I've encountered here has been warm and friendly. The shop is stocked with most of the essentials
