Asda Castlepoint Superstore

Went today for the kiosk at 9pm just to get a sandwich and a couple of drinks for me and my son. There was no one at the counter so after waiting 5 mins I asked security if they could ask for someone to come. A man around his 50s or 60s came to the counter asking how he could help, not before dropping things like "I thought you needed something else" "that's what happens when you leave" "you were not here before ". There was no a single apology from the man and instead of it I had ",well sir that's wha happens when you re short of staff".

This is the kind of grumpy and miserable attention customers have to face these days. Instead of expecting a better attention, is us the ones who have to apologize now. O left the store before asking for a feedback form and being told I need to contact directly the Head office. Well, here's your feedback .

Thank you to Chris who greatly helped us this evening with our shopping. It was my big shop and Chris was kind, obliging and a great sense of humour. Very respectful.

Would've put 0 stars but unable to. Absolutely disgusting customer service from the Assistant in the kiosk today. Its not the first time I've come across this from the same woman either. Visited the store today about 3.40 pm. As I was leaving thought I would ask if it was still possible to purchase a packet of cigarettes. The assistant said something,of which I only caught the end of. I thought she'd said she was closing. She then proceeded to glare at me whilst holding her arms in the air. Saying I'd have to hurry up as she was closing. I then asked for cigarettes, whilst she then proceeded to tell me she was doing me a favour. I understand staff want to get away at the end of their shift, but speaking to customers like that is unacceptable. I've worked in a customer facing environment for over 20 years and have never spoken to a customer like that. I've also heard her being rude to other customers in the past. That's me done with asda now. I'd rather pay more money and shop elsewhere.

Unfortunately you can’t give 0 stars! I do imagine this skews the rating of Asda dramatically. For your own mental health please do not use this store. Lack of communication and poor service, though they couldn’t care! My advice would be to go to either Lidl or Aldi for budget purchases or any other supermarket available, the fact that they are still in business in 2022 is a mystery that I’m sure experts will debate for centuries to come. Need I say more?

Good grocery, many varieties and a good price.

i had a lovely experience before christmas. Chris from Scan and go was so polite and sweet, he even gave us extra chocolates! big thank you to him and for his service, we would love to see him there again.

Stuck at home, very ill so arranged a delivery for the next day only for it to be cancelled a couple of hours before. Luckily managed to get someone to collect order for me on the click and collect. Then there is only 1 of the 2 pizza's available that are meant to be freshly made! Either pull your fingers out and actually make the pizza or send a substitute. Not rocket science. Customer service also a joke as no one available. Don't advertise what you clearly can't deliver. Not looking forward to my order turning up
