Lidl

A great new Lidl store for the local area. Lots of products with a small frozen section and a large bakery. Outside there are plenty of parking space including disabled spaces.

I left my shopping behind and did not realise until the following day.I thought I would call customer services on the off chance to see if my shopping bag was handed in.Customer services were so friendly and polite, after checking with lakeside store they advised me to pop in. To my surprise my shopping bag had been put away, waiting for me to collect. Staff in the store also so friendly and helpful. Just so refreshing when people actually go above and beyond in there job, I'm finding it is rare nowadays.

Fruits and vegetables bought in this particular branch always goes bad, literally hours after buying them, even when kept as suggested on the container. Mouldy rotten oranges and lemons are left mix with others in good state for days, it's like the staff doesn't even bother checking fruits basket, same issues with strawberries and grapes.
The staff always seems like they don't want to be there or be bothered.

Visited the store today, such and was served by such a lovely member of staff! Couldn’t be happier, I do believe her name was Zara (not to sure on spelling) definitely deserves some praise!!!! Great job 👏

Good options available which you won't get in other Lidl stores.
Quite messy store but would say that's due to customers not caring. Plenty of parking available.
Well stocked.

I love Lidl I went to get their Xmas crackers £7 including a mini game very good value as you would expect from Lidl

A very rude member at the till called Tyanah if I remember right, she’s dark skinned with glasses and braided hairstyle.
She shouted at me in front of the whole store and argued because of a single 30p bab.
She also had the audacity to call me rude.
Very disappointed in Lidl Thurrock.

So much better than the one in South Ockendon. I like that it doesn't take me half an hour to check out. Self service is a lifesaver
