Home for George brand products. Well organised store, everything easy to find. Staff members always extremely helpful. There is recycling point for old clothes and shoes on the parking lot.

Absolute joke placed an order online paid for Express delivery for between 4pm - 5pm only to have them cancel my order at 5.40pm then tell me I have to wait 3 days to get my refund. This is beyond a joke how can they cancel £110 order this was the last bit of money for 2 weeks there isnt any food in the house and I have a kid to feed what am I supposed to do? If I could give 0 stars that would be what they'd get. This is the 2nd time I've ordered from you and had problems both times, last time it was the driver turning up 45 minutes early and marking as failed delivery. I really think management need to get there staff in line .

I’m an honest reviewer. Hmmm this is a mixed review. The store isn’t the biggest store you’ll ever see, it’s a medium sized asda I’d say, yet generally badly organised. It’s clean , but the stock isn’t great, many items missing on shelves generally.
I’ve been using click and collect lately, believe me not through choice, and it’s been an experience every time, not ever in 6/7 months of going weekly has it been plain sailing.
Last week Was the worst, really I was at the end of my tether, it took me 1hr + 15mins to click and collect 4 bags of shopping from this store less than a mile away! How?! Bad bad organising, terrible even, people getting the wrong orders, wrong order of order coming out, no staff, no idea what was going on, staff complaining, moaning about management, just bad.
Since my bloomin awful experience last week I complained via email, only because it was so bad. I got a standard ‘to any customer’ ‘I’ll add your name’ reply, of which I gave them a telling off reply back lol, then eventually I got a reply apology from someone who realised I was very unhappy and also realised I’d realised it was a copy and paste response originally 🤔😬, very lazy and disappointed in this I might add! And they offered a £5 voucher for my experience being so poop.I absolutely wasn’t complaining to get a voucher, I was complaining because the experience made me feel ill!, it was exhausting as I’m not well at the moment. Yes, I took the voucher, if shopping wasn’t so expensive I’d have more pride, but it is what it is unfortunately.
It’s such a shame. This store could be great, it’s central to town, good car park, easy use, petrol station etc, it’s not tiny but certainly not a big asda, it could be a great quick shop. But, it’s obviously not well organised, it’s lacking in staff, and sometimes because they’re disorganised and not running well the staff can be off hand and not too pleasant (another incident in this store unconnected to my review), this is a big shame, could be a great asda if managed a little better.
I use this store only for click and collect or delivery at the moment, and I want to keep using it, as it’s the most economical shop with delivery near to me, it just needs more care and attention to service and store management, because it could be great!

Went to the Asda store late Friday evening. Only to find it closed!!! Several other customers were turning up. Some had walked. All the shutters were down but the lights were on so from the roadside it looked open.
Very frustrating. No idea why they were closed. Didn't even have the courtesy of putting a notice up. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional. Will be avoiding from now on.

TASHA

It was after the pubs had closed but before midnight. I'm sure the staff members can tell you exactly when they put the shutters down!

Shop here more than I should, store always feels at the end of the supply chain with gaps on the shelves. Staff generally good and helpful
