Tesco Express

A shop great for lunch as well as home groceries. Not best place for fresh produce.

Tesco is well-stocked for packaged food and snacks. Their line of fresh produce is not too great. This store opens until 10 PM even on Sundays, convenient for late-night snacks.

Worked there for a year and it was absolutely appalling! Staffs would make fun of people’s mental health and the safety of staffs personal information was not met to standards. I’d always come in and hear that staffs and management have been talking about my personal stuff and make false accusations about me and claim I “fake my mental health.” I complained about it before I left and yet nothing had been done about it. Even the manager would talk behind my back. Do not recommend working there at all. Even tried to call the area manager when I had left but clearly they didn’t care enough to take further action. One of the worst retail places I’ve ever worked in, and the staff there are highly unprofessional.

There is a really annoying and overzealous security guard in this store who won't respect the 2 metre social distance guidance despite being told by customers to keep his distance. He constantly follows customers around the store whilst rabbiting on which is tantamount to harassment. It is very stressful to shop here because of this. The staff in the local Sainsburys are much nicer and don't behave like this.

The location and hours are very convenient. It has a post office inside, which makes things even more convenient. The staff is very helpful. The selection is small, but Tesco has great online order + delivery system with great products AND service. Far better than their competitor Sainsbury's.

The Security guard makes it worth it to visit. He's always with a smile on, says hi to everyone genuinely. Maybe you should consider having him as part of the management 😁

The good: Convenient place & Post Office
The bad: Most of the usual groceries are a few days before their expiration date, common practice.

Very unpleasant staff member,called me a c.u.n.t all because I had my scooter in the corner where no civilian was or could go and told me to leave it next to the door where it was at risk of being stolen. I told him I had 2 items to buy and then be on my way but he was very rude

Very convenient store open till late. Not everything they hold but most of daily use items u can get from here.
