Big store, lots of products - and a lovely escalator! If you are looking for a great selection of food, veg, drinks and household products this is the place to come. Spacious and bright with friendly staff always willing to assist. Prices aren't too bad either! On-site parking is handy and easily accessible.

Bad experience, me and my diabetic friend went shopping to spend our change. As we were sat calculating our money to see if we had enough for some sweets, as we were sat this staff member saw my friends tic tacs she had in her pocket as she always carries them as she is diabetic. The lady asked us if we were putting things in our pockets and we said no because we would never steal. So we continued adding up our money till we got what we wanted and on the way to the self service tills we got stopped on the way and they asked us again “do you have anything in your pockets” we said no because we didn’t.Finally we got to the self service tills and started to pay for our items. Then one of the staff members came up to us and asked us again we said no and he told me to empty my pockets and I had nothing but a lipgloss and some hand gel that I owned. Then he continued and asked to see inside my bag he was searching for sweets. In my bag i had previously been to B&M across the road where I had bought a beauty blender and a packet of mini eggs and thank god I had the receipt so I could prove I bought them they replied with oh alright then me and my friend walked out after purchasing our sweets we were very unhappy as we would never steal.

have sat here waiting of my delivery all day...took 40 mins to get to either head office or Barrow where a recorded message told me my order was cancelled...am STILL waiting of the email which they said they had sent..believe me Tesco does not deserve one star!!! so much for £170 order...Carol Pounder

Have come away with my family for a week away in The Lakes to celebrate my birthday and our 30th wedding anniversary.
My daughter arranged a Tesco delivery for between 5pm and 6pm at a total cost of nearly £300. It is now after 7pm and still no delivery.
Having chased Tesco, their answer is that the driver ran out of driving time and therefore our delivery will not be made!
We explained to Tesco that we are in a holiday cottage and need this delivery tonight especially as they have already taken the money from my daughter's account. Their answer was that they could not do anything to help but would let us have a £20 voucher!
Needless to say, we are not happy and feel very let down by their despicable and appalling customer service.

Always loved Tesco and it's the primary supermarket I'll go to. I personally think their own brand items are excellent.

Not the same anymore since they closed half of upstairs no electrical things like tv's, laptops, no playstation games, dvds or cd's i never go here anymore I go to asda or morrisons instead least they actually have dvds, smart tv sticks or things like kitchen appliances as that's all gone that tesco used to sell upstairs you would think a supermarket like tesco would be selling the basic appliances like toasters etc that they had upstairs got such a big store but close the majority of upstairs off.
