Popped up to Tesco to buy a present for a secret santa at work - a set of candles and a small bottle of prosecco when I got refused sale of the alcohol - I'm 22 years old and do not look younger then 18. I would have thought the staff would also realise I was buying a gift , looking old enough to buy it - did not intend to drink the small bottle of prosecco and light a candle in the alleyway on the way home. Never the less I went back to get my ID to prove my age to the member of staff that he laughed at me when I tried to purchase this. When returning I went to pay for the prosecco and was served by another member of staff a very pleasant women who did not request ID as she had decided I was old enough at first glance, I asked her therefore why she did not want to see my ID when her colleague had insisted I walk back home to get this- as stated above she said I looked old enough and did not require to look (the colleague that he refused to serve me stood laughing next to her). She then apologised that I had been asked to walk back home and served me in the polite manor I would have hoped for on my first visit that evening.

Would be far better if the design of the carpark entrance wasn't such a bottle neck....it's hell to get in and out sometimes

Useless parking there, it's a really busy Tesco, not enough parking for three businesses there. Go up road to budgens alot less stressful. Be careful now dishing out car park tickets great earner!

Do not go here! I went to ask about my Evri packages since my packages weren't tracking. When I went to ask about it to the manager, the manager called it harrassment and threatened to report me because I argued with her about how the tracking works. I have had multiple parcels not being tracked or sent at this drop off point. Do not recommend

The prices has gone up massively within few weeks time, croissants from 75p are now £1! Not to forget about the rest of the products they sell! On top of that, the carts are all over the shop, every single day, making it impossible to pass through the alley, the shop is very messy, they missing a lot of vegetables on a daily basis, and some of the staff there are just rude.
