Love this Tesco store, one of the biggest Tesco stores I've visited. Have been a number of times and it's never been too busy so its a pleasure to wander up and down the ailes. Good selection of just about everything you could want from a super market including good sized clothing dept.

IF PAYING BY CASH BE CAREFUL OR YOU COULD BE MADE TO FEEL LIKE A CRIMINAL - WE DID. SEE PHOTO. We are a retired couple in our 70's and have ben using the Tesco Lakeside store for 20+ years. Currently spending around £250 per week inclusive of petrol etc. We are well aware that Tesco's no longer wish to accept cash, and in view of this have adopted a policy of making some checkouts CARD ONLY. This has never been a problem as we always make sure we are on a till which does not discriminate. Today we put our shopping onto the conveyor belt but when we went to pay we was told the checkout was Card Only and the employee could not accept cash. I asked "What do you expect us to do" She kept repeating this checkout is card only. It says so there Pointing To The Ceiling. Only when I started to put the shopping back onto the conveyor and said I would not bother did she agree to take us to another till. We felt like criminals ! I went to Customer Services and asked for the managers name and to speak to him. Unfortunately after I requested details, it appears that no staff have priority knowledge of the manager or duty managers name. I have photos taken today clearly showing no floor sign at this till, although three others were clearly marked. The reason given "some kids must have pinched it." Tesco's have been increasing prices by 10p per week on many items so this was the final push we needed to vote with our cash (Legal Tender) and shop elsewhere.

Lovely big spacious Tesco! Get most of what you need here and it's not overcrowded. Few halal options, but could do with more.

Been using this Tesco for a while but felt really discriminated today over using a screenshot of my Tesco club card. Reason I have a screenshot is because sometimes the screen rotates and it doesn’t always work or it’s either too small for the self service to read. Jack at the self service till was very rude and and unhelpful and made me feel like a criminal for using a screenshot. He made such a big deal out of nothing. I don’t think I would use this store again because of him as I have never had this issue in any other Tesco before.

NORMALLY ALL OK, NOT TODAY.
At the start of the checkout scanning, I explained I needed 3 x carrier bags to buy. However, at the end I use 4 bags.
When I got home, I noted I had been charged for 3 x crunch chips, I bought 1 this was the first item scanned. At the bottom of the receipt were the 4 carrier bags.
Over charged by £2.00
Watts App message not being answered, If walked out without payment I'm sure I would be expected to return with cash, yet their in the wrong and I'm still expected to go back.
SORRY, SAINSBURY, FROM NOW ON, WHERE DO I RETURN CLUB CARD TO? POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

Awful customer service, grocery delivery failed 6 times in the last 3 months. No refund of delivery charges, refund for food you haven’t had takes 5 working days. Tesco simply don’t care about their customers.

The price on the shelf is different than the tile. Also the staff is not friendly at all, actually they was screaming at me and they tried to intimidate me

I have been a tesco online shopping customer for many years. Over the last year the service from this store has gone downhill so badly. I pay to have a 1 hour slot but I am routinely waiting over 2 hours longer for them to arrive and they are supposed to keep you updated and they don't!! I will be cancelling my delivery saver after xmas as I have no faith in they're service anymore.
