Large free busy car park, disabled parking near main wide entrance which is controlled by member of staff. Hand wash available at door. Clean disable toilets on ground floor. Wide walkways around store allowing customers to keep distant. Pharmacy in store with protected screens. Even a photo shop and a controlled entry to in-store Macdonald's. Hot deli food available and an in house bakery.
Standard size lift to take you to 2nd floor selling George clothes selection.
Large selection of no food items, to many to mention. On leaving top up at petrol station. Recommend a visit and view for your self, amazing!

Tuesday 21/06/2022.
Major super store in the Eastleigh ares.
At the time of our visit this morning.
Gents toilet closed.
Two out of three disabled toilets closed. All closed, note on doors " OUT OF ORDER"
Third disabled/ baby change toilet, " water is turned off at 1000hrs until 1300hrs."
Ladies toilet still open, to the best of my knowledge.
This situation does not help McDonalds customer's either.
I appreciate not all customers need the use of a toilet.
No indication when Asda's toilet facilities will return to normal.
,
Former ASDA cafe now a McDonalds restaurant after a complete refurbishment .Opened 04/09/2019.
Many more customers than the former cafe. Very busy at the time of visit.
Open 24 hours, mimics ASDA opening hours at the weekend.

Went in today for a few bits. Come on Asda, pull your socks up!!! I can honestly say, it was fairly busy when I visited, it was about 2.30 and only three tills that were operated by a member of staff were open. I'm happy to use self check out but people from an older generation may struggle. Very disappointed.

Asda Superstore, offers clothes on upstairs mezzanine floor. Has a McDonald’s, Opticians, pharmacy, photo place and toilets. Normally busy with plenty to offer. Staff usually ok. Shop is clean enough and normally well stocked.

Placed a click and collect, my other half went to collect but we were missing all our frozen items and stil havent had a refund resolved. We ordered 3 bags of nuts, all 3 were available as this was not in the substitute list however the staff member grabbed 2 wrong bags which we can't eat due being gluten intolerant. Every time we have gone in over the last few months (we shop on a regular basis) the cleanliness, availability and waiting time has declined massively. It doesnt matter whether we go late, early, weekends, weekdays, as they open on a sunday, theres nothing on the shelves, pallets blocking the aisles, broken glass just pushed aside, boxes scattered, i understand its a large store and its busy but first thing in the morning theres no excuse for it.The staff picking the orders are almost always in the way its quite frustrating if you are in a hurry. The standards have massively slipped unfortunately.

Awful store, never enough check outs open, trying to force everyone to self serve after picking up their food from the messy boxes on the shelves. Won't go there again, horrible experience.
When you read other reviews, same criticism of the checkouts over and over again

The staff at the Eastleigh store are absolutely brilliant, especially the scanner section and customer care teams, I use the scanner because I'm a wheelchair user, so the scanners are perfect for me, no lifting stuff onto the checkouts and back in to bags, I'm already in agony and exhausted, so it helps using the scanner a lot.

There are not enough staff on the shop floor, it can take a long time to find someone to reach stuff for me or tell me where things are, the produce is mostly fresh and looks good, the shelves are generally well stocked, but obviously when busy keeping them stocked is troublesome, as it is elsewhere.

The disabled toilet it in desperate need of a refurb, or at least regular deep cleaning.

The lift from the ground floor up to George can be a little temperamental, which is frustrating, if you have specifically gone for the George department.

Overall Asda at Chandlers Ford is one of the better stores.

Asda Chandler's Ford provides a great range of products. Also has a McDonald's inside where you can order on the touchscreens.
