Actually this should be zero. I didn't bring my £1 coin pop a trolly from its lock to shop. I go to customer services and they were going to sell me a trolley key ring, I asked could you just let me have a trolley please. No sorry but we can't. What about cash back that would work . Sorry you will need to pay for that.
Opps Tesco you have missed a beat and cost yourself a customer for life.

A very large store within easy reach of the main roads. Access to the main car park is located further away and you will need to follow the signs for the exit. The entrance to the store is on a narrow part of the car park. The store itself is big and has a pharmacy, Vision express opticians, bakery, self service instant photo printing and a Costa upstairs. There are plenty of self service checkouts as well as attended checkouts. The store is larger than usual and seems to have many more facilities than other stores.

A petrol station and electric vehicle charging available, charging is provided by PodPoint. Charging bays are sometimes used by non EV drivers and didn't seem to be monitored.

I went to the Costa franchise on the mezzanine floor at the Winnall Tesco last week. Despite Costa boasting 5 stars for food hygiene, the exposed pipework in the roof space was filthy with a thick layer of brown dust (I have photos) and quite obviously was in need of cleaning. Djsgusting!

Really disappointed with the lack of normal tills now. 5 normal tills with people on and the rest are self scan or self checkout. The queues were terrible yesterday, it was like christmas, people were queuing down the aisle to actually go to a proper till with a physical person. I did self scan and the girl sorting out issues was run off her feet. I had to have a partial rescan (again despite not having any issues on my previous rescans) gets very annoying. Then I had to wait for age related. It's put me off of going there and Christmas will be awful

If I could put 0 stars I certainly would. First time visiting the store, and refused a sale for energy drink because I seem underage. As much as that is a nice compliment, when challenging your store colleague about the decision, she instantly called security and barred me from the shop.

Great introduction to Winchester - what a greeting for a first day in this city - with your colleagues having that attitude you don't need to worry about banning me from your store, I wouldn't step foot in the place is you paid me.too.

Nice big store,well stocked, huge car park

I’ve been to a lot of tescos throughout london and i honestly have to say this is the best one, the staff here are so friendly and helpful, even when they are busy filling the shelves, they still go that extra mile to help what you are looking for! Just perfect

I really do not want to write a bad review because I am glad that we have a Tesco better than none I suppose but the parking is an utter nightmare with hardly ever space for parents and childrens parking. It’s very difficult to open the car door and get a wriggly toddler out of the car whilst at the same time making sure not to touch the neighbouring car, besides walking up with a little one all the way from the back is not easy either.
The issue is more that people WITHOUT children use the parking allocated for parents with children and that is quite….well so am lost for words.
In any case, the check out system is quite remarkable in itself with over 20 check out points and in over 6 years have I never seen more (not even during the busy CHRISTMAS period) than 5 being occupied by staff.

The question is why building (I just checked!) almost 30 check out points?

The excuse of COVID is getting old.

So sad because the selection of products is ok and good when it comes to cleaning products.
