Tesco Esso Express

The Copnor express Esso/Tesco is a very busy fuel/shop. Too successful as it has put several small independent retailers out of business. The area is now dominated by the two Tesco owned shops. This one and the "OneStop" 300m away. We have also lost the Tivoly petrol station and shop since Esso/Tesco opened. It is also no longer the cheapest fuel in town as it once was. All in all we have gained an expensive, overly busy fuel/shop. And lost several local traders and the choose they represented.

Google map and Google Earth have it in the wrong place. it's on the other side of the road 500m north. The pointer is currently pointing at some blokes house!

I love it. I use this Tesco a lot and have so far not had a bad experience. The staff are fantastic and always chatty and happy to help, for a very busy place it always seems nice and clean and, although it's not the cheapest, it is incredibly convenient.
The fuel price is competitive and with the little extras like free air for tyres and water it makes for a very pleasant shopping experience.
Really handy is that I can pick up online orders which made Christmas shopping very bearable.

Wish if i could give less star. We allways use this to put fuel in our cars. Today i was rushing and by accident i left my fuel cap there so called them up told them if they can find it for me so then the person said he went out and checked it's not there and he checked he said. Later at night told my friend to go have a look and he found it. How can a person check in few sec and lie by saying it's not there.

Always quick in and out of this place! Have many main shopping essentials available saying you a trip to the bigger and more busy stores. This place is always jam packed! The staff makes a store and here they have some extremely nice staff members!

Bought some chicken breasts and they had bones in, not happy at all. And again we have purchased chicken breasts and they have more bone in!

Its a Tesco's what you would expect from them always excellent 👌

It's okay ..with petrol pump ⛽..

Fantastic patrol station bought a new car in Portsmouth and couldn’t work out how to get the filler cap off the car. Asked one of the employees and one of them came out to help me figure out how to get the thing off. Very helpful.
