I always use this Tesco Express for our day to day shopping the staff here are very friendly and extremely helpfull, today they went even further, my wife has just come out of hospital after surgery for breast cancer so i popped in to buy a few things, milk bread etc, as usual the staff are very polite and actually speak to you, as we were chatting the gentleman serving me asked if i was ok, i explained my wife had just come out of hospital and why, he was full of sympathy and kind words, on my way out he handed me a bunch of flowers for my wife from the staff at Tesco Express, wow, i was so surprised, very rare these days for large companies or the staff of large companies to act in such a kind and caring way, what a credit to your company this gentleman is,, my wife was so touched by this gesture, thank you so much

Pop in here regularly as a relatively new Letchworth resident. It feels like a locally independent run shop which is down to the extremely friendly and polite staff. Always have time for a chat with the customers. Great place.

Staff are far to interested in chatting to each other , there were 5 people in front of me for 1 cashier . About 4 walking around doing sweet FA . Has to be the worst staff I've ever seen . When I got to the till the girl didn't have any idea of the words " please or thank you "! Or maybe even , " hi how are you " ! Absolutely rubbish , I'll go elsewhere for anything . Tesco shame on you for allowing this rubbish.

Fair choice in most dry goods, fresh fruit and veg has short shelf life. Prices here are often expensive .
