Although prices have suddenly gone shooting up! I paid £1.40 for an item 2 weeks ago and yesterday the same item was suddenly £1.90!! I really can't see the sense in ordinary household items suddenly costing a lot more. Tempted to start shopping somewhere else! 🤔

Use to be a Tesco hardcore fan but after going to Sainsbury's through necessity iv changed my allegiance better fruit more meals good shop layout engaging freaindly staff and it's got Argos in there for pretty much anything else you need as long as you have paid online it will be there waiting for you overall great shopping experience parking is a slight stress but never had to go round twice looking for a space just keep aware in car park it's a bit chaotic

Small shop and a bit limited selection but great for a local place. Sometimes they don't have enough till staff on though. Typical small Sainsbury's, Bitterne could do with a slightly bigger shop as it can be busy.

There was a kind, short, artificially orange haired girl here that was super helpful throughout my shopping experience.

Love shopping here. Great if with elderly or small children. Wide aisles, great selection of clothing, jewellery, household goods, toys, food and drink.
Argos is also at the back of the store which is really handy.
It's a go to place.
It's a GREAT shame they have shut the Cafe, used to do a lovely Fish and Chips.

Lovely stuff they have, although a bit pricey, quality of food in particular is pretty good though, I found everything I was looking for anyway, I always shop in that Sainsbury when in Bitterne precinct.

Not impressed with some shelf products. Used to get what you wanted instore but not so much lately due to new lines added so something has got to give.
Shame.

Since the other 'home wares' sainsburys closed nearby, this sainsburys has gone steadily downhill. Own brand products rapidly disappearing.
Complete Isles wiped out of food products in favour of non food.
Delicatessen no longer there,
Fewer checkouts open in favour of self check out.
I've personally switched to Aldi and Iceland now for my main shop and use sainsburys in Bitterne just for top up stuff occasionally.
This used to be my supermarket of choice, so sad to see it decline so rapidly.
