Very discriminating supemarket....only those that neither need or want to work are entitled to a bakery selection....if you turn up after a long day's work at teatime you will be disappointed. Lidl doesn't seem to want or need your custom...also they never seem to have come across a well known fact - that freezers are at their most efficient when full...or at least something in them..so best just go to an established supermarket......also the reply from 'James' is an exact copy of the one given to numerous reviewers in not just the local area but much further afield...copy and paste at it's best !!!!
22/8/22..Just read that Lidl will be cutting back on the middle aisle range...no difference to us....if you can't supply us with a simple 25p bread roll after lunchtime, why should you expect us to spend £20-30 quid on an item from you!!

Good as usual but a tad disappointed there were so many bare shelves at 10.45 am

Brilliant, clean, tidy, staff are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble. Would recommend to anyone.

Well it's a Lidl, good value for money for your groceries plenty of free parking, you will need a £1 coin for the trolley, it does have a self service section, if you have a problem with it it takes ages for a person to come and sort it I would recommend you go to the checkout if possible

I’m actually stunned that a manager told me “What’s the point in coming here” when needing to buy an item. Most members of staff could benefit from smiling once in a while.

Not the biggest store in Gloucester but handy. Often not many tills open but I guess that’s a staffing issue like all shops atm.
