Another example of a small but well stocked Sainsbury's in the shopping centre of the city. Wide aisles and plenty of room both around the well signed items as well as at the check out. The staff have all been very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. Service has been relatively quick even when store is full. Shop here a lot and recommend it to all.

Shame this store is closing on 13th August for a re- vamp . Won't be open again until November but I'm sure it will be lovely once it's all done.

Great to be able to visit the newly refurbished Sainsburys in Colchester centre!
This is such a handy place for Locals and people visiting the centre and wanting to take home fresh produce!
It's very welcoming in here and nice and bright 🌞!

Generally positive experience. I visited after their refit and I must say I was expecting little bit more of a change taking to count how long it was shut for. Saying that, nothing wrong with what is there. I was served by lovely lady and products I bought were of good quality.

Went into this Sainsbury’s today my 3year old son was suddenly desperate for the toilet I asked one of the lady’s that works there (didn’t get her name) I asked if my son could use there staff toilet she replied with a no there’s public toilets all around town I continued to say he’s not going to make it. She shrugged her shoulders so I had to leave my basket of shopping on the floor to go a find a public toilet but my son wet his pants by the time we got out the store. An my poor boy had to walk home with wet pants bless him. I personally think that a child under a certain age should be able to use staff toilets as they can’t hold as well as adults. Very sad that what would have been a 2min toilet use turned into this an in the end I didn’t manage to get any shopping done. I hope the manager reads this an changes his policy on young toddlers and using the toilet
