Went into the cafe recently after around three years since my last visit. Oh dear!! nothing changes, a moronic teenager serving the drinks, if he went any slower he would be going backwards.
I gave up and dumped my tray and food down. If they cannot do better than this they do not deserve any custom at all.
Went to another outlet much better and cheaper.

i love an m&s cafe as much as the next middle class person but i am never ever to eat here again. what a sad excuse for some chips. flaccid and limp . not even improved by the strange version of ketchup provided to us. nice waiter tho

On our return from France on Thursday we decided to drop into the cafe for a drink and a snack.
After 3 weeks in France we realised how low this country has sunk. Why?
1. Only 1 grubby tray available.
2. Table after table piled high with uncollected trays, cups, food remains etc
3. No china cups just cardboard ones.
I walked around the whole store looking for management staff but no one in evidence.
If this is the best service M&S can provide for diners I suggest giving up now.
Should anyone wish to respond I have photographic evidence.
Would give a zero star rating if it was possible.

Empty store. No staff, not much stuff, very disappointing...
Tried to buy a duvet + cover, only small sizes, very little choice in Super King size 😟. Same with the duvet mattress topper...
Tried the online store, worst! Couldn't even find the items 😡
Do they really want to sell something? or to push us all to Amazon 🤔

Thank you to the member of staff, a young woman working in the cafe on Sunday 24.10.22, who tracked us down across the store to reunite us with our car keys, to our great relief and gratitude. Thank you for this high level of customer care! Simon, Horsham

Not just any old breakfast. Cold poached egg, even after being returned for reheating and missing bacon. Not a good start to birthday celebrations.

My mum and I visited yesterday for brunch. It was quite busy, and there were quite a few options from the menu that were mot available.. we ordered drinks and eggs benedict for myself and eggs royale for my mum. We had a 15-minute wait, but it looked good when it arrived.. unfortunately, the hollandaise sauce was cold on both our dishes, the plus side was we were both very hungry and could eat it quickly! One of the apparently new waiters was spoken to by his senior, well within ear shot of myself and my mum, even though being given guidance, but it must have been a little embarrassing for the newer member of staff, as it was in front of customers, we felt this could of been handled a little more professionally, for the sake of the new member of staff, but it was very busy and they must have been under increased pressure! It wasn't a bad experience, we would visit again!

Fast becoming a place not to visit. I’ve lost count of the amount of times the cafe has ran out of various food items before 1pm. Always under stocked with many items on the menu often not available.
