Shop assistants are very helpful and the aisles are nice and wide
There are WCs here near the entrance.
Do not forget to get your parking ticket stamped you get 2 hours free parking.
When ordering online, their drivers may not respect the slot you chose. If they show up too early, they'll leave the huge supermarket's containers in your building corridors. These are a fire hazard, and no driver ever comes back collecting them, no matter how many times you call the customer care about the issue.
Now since I cannot keep these containers around I can only trash them; are they even recyclable at home?
Everything because they make you chose a slot and then avoid respecting it (even if they truly have to, why not calling me first at least?). I order groceries online since before the pandemic and never received such a bad service, paired with such little customer respect.
A man decided to kick off after jumping the queue at next till and was challenged about it by a lady. And then he erupted. He was abusive, threatening and very rude to the lady. It took ages before the manager arrived, then eventually the store security man in white shirt and ages before another security dressed in black.
They were like wet tea bags in dealing with it. The lady was left distressed, visibly shaking and scared and not one member of staff helped her or gave her any comfort or help. I went to comfort her and requested security to walk her to her car. No Sainsburys staff helped.
The black shirt security then says the abusive man is known to them and banned! Why was he allowed in? And why did it take ages for the manager to turn up. There were children crying in the store.
We heard the manager swear at an assistant too.
Appalling from the man but the staff were way too slow to respond and apart from walking the man did nothing to help the lady till I stepped in. Then security go…. We will protect her! a bit late.
Manager needs to be taken to task about this and the ineffective security men in store.
I just hope the lady involved is OK.
