Asda Leyton Mills Superstore

I am shocked. Shocked. Shocked is the way to describe how I'm feeling right now about the plastic around all the fresh produce. Banana have their own natural packaging. Please reduce this excessive packaging for all your fresh produces.

[Edit] I've been visiting your store for over a year now and I've seen no progress in reducing plastic packaging. I've saved all the "Recycle at large supermarket store" plastics at home to take back, but NEVER FOUND the collection bin at your store. Your labels and "2025 waste goals" are misleading and green washing. Plastic can't be recycled.

Love the way it's setup and so beautifully laid out all the displays from food, clothes, household goods etc brilliant. So clean and well lit. Should have more disable parking as its always full and cars waiting for disable bays. Love the separate section for those who scan and go. Never tried it but it looks cool.

Edit in response of the reply: I don’t feel comfortable giving a ref number on here. I have had contact with your Twitter account and they have ignored my formal complaint request, which I have called them out on. Why don’t you provide an email or phone number that I can contact you on Tasha? I think this would be rather appropriate. Also I would like to provide feedback - is it possible to have an easy access button on your website, app to be able to delete your account and information? As I never wish to use your online service again.

Don’t use this for your online shop. 6 out of 10 deliveries we have had proper problems with: Security tags left on bottles every time, every delivery we have had replacements for common items even though the delivery was arranged well in advance, crushed bread or missing item and items sell by date 24hr on the day.
You can’t call the store when you have a problem - no answer and Twitter takes days to answer. Also their drivers park dangerously over the zebra crossing in front of the house and drivers get the hump when you ask them to re park - parking available only 15-20 meter from the house. Children’s park is opposite we have had kids run over. Poor customer services.

Asda Leyton Mills is part of the Asda group; one of Britain’s leading grocery retailers. Asda offers great prices and quality products helping customers save money & live better. This store has been revamped and my personal opinion is that it looks great. There's more openess in store, spacious and the clothing section looks more upto date with better display and screens. Asda Opticians offer eye tests, great value contact lenses which are available to buy in-store and online, and clear complete prices on prescription glasses.
This large store has everything you want under one roof, which includes clothing and footwear for men, women, children and babies. There is also a halal butchers section, frozen foods and bakery, Opticians, click and collect area, customer service, toilets for men, women and disabled customers. There's a large car park with ample parking.

A very large Asda in East London. They have a big selection of their clothing range. The store has had a recent refurb. They recently added a food outlet to buy hot food. Their is also a chemist and optician in store. Toilets are also available. They also have a separate Halal counter at one end of the store. Lots of checkouts which is great, generally a very good store to do your weekly/monthly shop.

Nice staff very welcoming even at 7am in the morning, large store with everything you need parking is free for 3 hours.

Favourite place to do a stock up. I can always find what I need because everything is easy to locate and the staff are lovely. The scan and go feature also made shopping faster and more efficient, I can see how much I’m spending and can check how much an item is priced without committing to it.

Went in their staff following me around checking what items I had put in my basket. When I completed my shopping the same staff who was following me was at the main computer went to the checkout and 50% of my shopping had changed prices form when pick it from the rack one price check out price totally different. Any one shopping at Leyton Asda should check your receipt and change and if you’re willing to pay for the ranges of price changes.
