Tesco Express

Okay for the odd bits to bail out for basics but always low on alot of stock. Either they have mostly empty shelves for particular items or you can't get to the shelves as they're being stocked slowly so carts of stock are blocking aisles. Rotation of stock is also not very good. Items often run out on day of purchase or next day (limited stock on shelf so not able to choose a longer date). Also there are rarely any reduction stickers to reflect this. This an in going issue - generally cannot purchase all items I intended as they are not there (they are items that are sold by the express/have a place on your shelf, just no stock). Ladies on till are generally nice but male staff not very helpful or nice generally. Was excited to have a Tesco express near by but it does not live up to Tesco reputation and is worse than other tesco express I have been to.

Tesco express was quite good. Clean and very efficient customer service.this place however does not have a public restroom. It is centrally located and serves its community well. One can expect to find most basic house hold, laundry, kitchen and bathroom escentials. Opening hours are what you would expect from most stores of this nature and prices reasonable.

I am glad Tesco opened up close by and there is a variety to choose from. However essential things that you buy in bigger stores are still missing. Staff is very helpful but are taken advantage of, and there are lots of thefts going on. People should appreciate the opening of a store close by.

SMOKERS AVOID!
I was sold FAKE TOBACCO at this store and couldn't take it back because at the time they was changing the receipt paper and I obviously never got a receipt and I paid cash. The real Amber Leaf 50g's is just shy of £30. I'm absolutely disgusted by Tesco's and would never shop at any Tesco ever again. Why do I have to give thieves 1star?

I HAVE BEEN GOING INTO TESCOS EXPRESS ON AND OFF IN LEA BRIDGE ROAD AND OTHER TESCOS ELSEWHERE NEARBY ME THAT ARE ALSO LOCAL IN THE AREA.

My experience at Tescos in LeyBridge Road was very good on the 22/10/2022 on the way home back from Central London. I went there by 55 bus as usual and SUBWAY was still closed as there was a notice on the hard board wood. Saying Closed until further notice for the second week running.

I like this Tesco, is close by and has what I need. I'm very glad that there is now Hermes service. I find it very handy. But oh boy, on Sunday I felt like an intruder, the staff (slim Asian man) gave me a look and then started to complaining how short staffed they are, how this service should be closed. It really puts me off that place now.

PLEASE stop cleaning the coffee machine in the morning - this is when we most need coffee! It doesn’t make any sense! We’ve been complaining for over a year now yet it is still, 9/10 happening! Do it in the evening when people are less likely to need coffee - you must be missing out on so much profit here because of the time it takes to clean it & it being out of action for this high footfall period! Think about your customers needs & your business not what might fit in better with your routine.
