Tesco Esso Express

I have many years going there and they keep on getting better and better. I have to say that male selling assistants/cashiers are a lot better helping customers and packing the groceries than the female assistants/cashiers who seem just worried about their nails, seem unhappy, don't help and never greet customers.

Terrible customer service. Slow service, lack of interest from staff.

I went there last week to leave some ASOS bags for collection, since they're supposed to be a Collect+ point. They told me they could only take one out of my four parcels, because they didn't have enough space to keep them (!!!). They weren't even big bags!

And just a few minutes ago, I went there to top up my electricity key and, of course, their machine wasn't working... I asked the staff about the closest place where I could top it up, and they told me I could go to Brixton Road Co-op, and that none of the off-licence shops around did it. Good thing I didn't listen to them, since Co-op would have been closed by the time I would have arrived there, and actually I found an off-licence shop nearby where I could top up my key.

Apart from shopping your groceries, avoid any other services they "provide".

A good example of a compact local supermarket with a decent range of products considering it's size. Friendly and helpful staff too. The site is shared with an Esso service station and there is a Link ATM that is available even if the store is closed.

Will never use this store again, the cashiers at this store are rude, racist and have a third world mentality. They like to argue with the customers and talk in their own language too each other when serving customers, many times have I been short changed by them because of their lack of attention to the customer. STAY CLEAR

Doesn't offer Hermes printing even though Hermes website does say so. Unfriendly staff.

This Tesco had some really great offers. Unfortunately they don't have self service tills that I'm so used to these days. So in the queue with everybody else.

Staff friendly and meal deals £3 great deal.

Staff and security man are rude to customers and racist towards black customers. I was spoken to very rudely by the security man whilst waiting for a parcel collection. They only speak to each other in their language and clearly have no care for anyone. Absolute poor customer service!! Go to the Tesco on acre lane instead!
