Sainsbury's Local

Its really weird how they sell products which requires you to use a spoon yet they can not get a proper spoon. I had made many comments about them getting a spoon but they give me a fork spoon and say its a spoon. The manager is aware that customers are asking for spoon and he doesn't really seem to care as it has been about 8 months now they have not had the proper spoon which in other sainburys I go to it is the black spoon in the white see though bag but this sainburys cant seem to afford the ones that comes individual and what they have done is buy the fork that comes in a pack then open it into their spoon and fork containers and think thats acceptable. It is only spoon your store CAN NOT BE THAT BROKE TO NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD SPOONS. SIMPLE SPOONS

It's a cool place. Against Goldsmith university in New Cross. Outdated foods are sold in this Local Sainsbury's industry. Why?

It's a decent store my only gripe is sometimes not enough staff are on the shop floor when they open in the morning.

I needed to get ginger and lemons. Found ginger easy but the lemons were there... At the bottom of the whole fruit/veg delivery. I didn't want to be trouble but one very polite member of staff offered to get it for me. He got out of his way to move all the crates just to give me a few lemons. I didn't check his name but he deserves a medal for going there extra mile. Made my day!

In the time of Covid we got told off for entering the shop separately when actually a couple. Didn't really realise that was an egregious crime and didn't really appreciate getting told off. Other than that, it's fine...

Staff are friendly, store product range is good, i can get almost everything i need.

Ghastly and rude staff. Got called old by the cashier when I asked him if he wanted to see my ID as he was staring at me while buying a bottle of wine

It's such a shame that just because of 2 people the rest of the staff gets 2 ratings. The security guy literally snatched the bottle of wine from my hand because I just walked to a different aisle like I was gonna run out of the door or something. And the guy who checked my ID at the check out was so extremely rude and didn't even answered a simple question instead started talking rubbish. He ruined my whole evening with his attitude, words and behaviour. I walked out of the shop but that experience disturbed me so much that I immediately went back and returned everything.

I have been going to this place occasionally and there is always nice staff there who served me before. But after this, I am never going there again. Its annoying because its only 1 minute walk and closest supermarket from my place.
