Sainsbury's

Large store with good range of food, clothes and household stuff. No cafe anymore which is a bit of a shame as while there are loads of restaurants close by there is nowhere close enough to get sonrtjing light like a quick cuppa and a sandwich.

As usual the card reader at the self service till didn't work,and didn't read my card, I didn't notice,and assumed it had worked, filled my bag,and walked away,was then accused of theft. Not the first time this has happened, usually I notice, but because I am disabled,and am on very heavy painkillers, sometimes i am not as sharp as I used to be, Wouldn't recommend this shop, to be made to feel like a thief, for a genuine mistake is a disgrace,most of the staff are good , but a few are rude, miserable, unhelpful, and show little, or no empathy

My favourite sainsbury, staff are delightful ve very helpful, even down to the old security guard, just love visiting this store

It was pleasant, except for the smartshop app. I was unable to complete the process due to an error, in the system. I had to finish my payment using my physical card. It worked seamlessly at other shops.

Sainsburys Tanners Lane Barkingside is good for our extra shop, reasonably well stocked shelves and we often find some good bargains. I recommend self service if in a hurry, till service can be slow

Really unpolite customer service from a till assistant who literally shout at me few minutes ago. I think I will purchase online from other brand to avoid this misbehave and incentive unemployment for such offensive people.

Nice and local so makes it convenient just off the high street doesn’t always have everything as it’s a smaller store want more variety go to Newbury Park Sainsbury’s but the Barkingside staff are friendly and helpful

Good selection, and big parking area. Also has clothes section which is convenient
