Little Waitrose & Partners Wimbledon Hill

A good Waitrose in a convenient location. It is well laid out with most basic things in stock. There is a coffee machine at the front of the store, with an honesty box, that I love! There are 4 check out counters with about 13 quintillion self service tills, however, the downfall is that they are card only and the receipts are about 30 meters long. I have provided a few pictures to understand the layout.

Is primary located, well structured and even has coffee on tap relying on an honesty box for those who partake.

Small busy store, ideal for commuters coming out of the mainline station. Good reay-to-eat and drinks section.

Well it's so small and cramped in here.
Myself and the other customers and staff were so pressed up together, that I left feeling like I needed to buy a contraceptive pill. There's a great selection of food that I haven't seen in other waitrose stores. But I was peeved about a weirdo security guard following me about like tinkerbell through the aisles and staring at my hands, which only held a water bottle and a basket. Perhaps he thought the bottle was from his store, but by the looks of my tatty thing (I have used and reused for the past year until it says Yoric instead of Volvic), anyone with half a mind could see I was just a customer minding my own business.

Worst ever experience. The dark till lady was disgusting, horrible and extremely nasty, unable to communicate like a normal human without shouting violently at customers. Horrific service by the dark till lady; not the first time and I had to speak out. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Store manager must take action - not the first customer to experience this from the dark till lady.

Fed up and will never return.

Terrible customer service. Instead of apologising for their mistake, I was shouted at for nothing by a black woman - I had to say this to describe her as she is the only terrible one I experienced there. I remember her being V. rude & abrupt before. Worst Waitrose experience ever. Won’t go there again. Wasted my time and mood for a day!!!!

Very nice little shop, had everything you would need in a hurry

Very disappointed to hear how a member of staff here treated my wife. An item couldn't be scanned and an employee came over and talked to her as if she was stupid not being able to use a self-service counter. What ever happened to training staff on customer service?
