Good small shop for shopping basics

👍This shop is a life saver for both the locals and visitors of the nearby Olympia conference centre.

🕒It features long opening hours, 6am-12am 7 days a week.
Wide selection of products: from the basics to the high quality “Tesco Finest” range.

🍎🥑🥐☕️Fruits and vegetables are always fresh. Shop has a Polish and gluten-free sections. There are also a bakery and Costa coffee machine.

👌Prices are reasonable. Good discount offers and sometimes very good offers for those who have Tesco clubcard.

☺️ The staff is professional, very friendly and helpful.

🖥Two modern self-serve checkout tills (which unfortunately work very seldom), 6 old-style self-serve checkouts, two manned counters (the second one never works).

👎However, the freezer does not work properly and it is been this way for many years. If you buy an ice cream it is most likely half melted. UPDATE: It looks like the freezer is fixed now.

☹️ The management also blocked entrance into one out of six aisles “to prevent booze stealing” (see the picture). Which, by the staff’s own admission, does not work very well, as all the local thieves are in no way impeded by this unsophisticated contraption. However, it does wonders in the area of creating an annoying obstacle for the regular, good-natured customers, who now need remarkable navigation skills to find candy (and the booze for course).

Good sized Express store in a convenient location. Lots of self-service checkouts.

Grabbed a meal deal here - including a pasta pot. No fork/spoon included in the packaging and none in the fridge area either. They are behind the counter and so need to ask a member of staff. No notices up about this and means you can't checkout using self service.

I've never seen staff so unfriendly. There is rarely anyone at the cash register and I have have felt on numerous occasions uncomfortable asking for assistance because of the glare they give you. Not to mention that the response to me saying thanks/have a nice day tends to be a glare from the cashier as well. As a cherry on top the guard has also followed me quite visibly on several occasions making my experience even worse.
I hope Tesco does introduce some training to this staff. A smile in the morning or a simple have a nice day response can go a long way.

Tesco had everything you could possibly want from an express shop for example top ups for your cupbards etc.

Not very clean, very often stock is totally empty at times where it shouldn't be. Carts full of cardboard blocking the aisles. Tills often not manned.

This has got to be the worst Tesco i've ever been to. Never restocked, many times shelves are completely empty. The layout is really cramped. The staff are nice if you can find one. Totally understaffed store and looks like a discount pound store but with empty shelves. You're better off walking 5 minutes down the road to the Sainsbury's which at least have staff.

Worst shop you'll ever go to. Must be a franchise. No way Tesco themselves would run something so badly. That said, some of the staff are friendly - and it looks pretty hard for them too.

You can’t find a worse Tesco. Half the time you walk in the whole refrigerated section is completely empty. Unclean & unsafe
