Tesco Esso Express

There’s a new girl who’s just amazing - so human! Usually staff’s very mediocre here, but I hope the new girl stays and becomes the manager eventually!! Strong, tall, blonde-ish.

Open 24h - no alcohol after 10pm - packed vegs available - no fresh bakery at nights - even cheese has security tags here (embarrassing af).

PS - Tesco sucks! Go Morrisons instead

Avoid at all costs, absolute nightmare of a place, so unorganised.Do sympathise with the staff, who are welcoming ,as they have to leave their check out positions to come out and stack shelves.
Only ever 1 or 2 serving you, with long queues all the time,even worse now since they’ve put the new self service tills in, a complete disaster.
Spent 35 min in there today , 30 min of that was in the queue.
All needs to be sorted as a matter of urgency for both customers and staff alike.

Great store. My daughter gets the paper there every morning

Would give 0 stars if I could. They sent back my parcel before my pickup window was up so better pick up somewhere else.

Kindly asked a staff member standing by the door for the bakery section , he replied "ask a member of staff" I turned to him and said "I thought you were staff" he replied in a rude manner " you still talking ...shut up"...I reported him to Sorab the store manager. Extremely rude staff member....I didn't realise tesco employ people with this type of attitude. I will be taking it further

Although there's a sign asking people to wear masks, the security guard never wears a mask and stands at the door of the shop chatting on his phone, spraying any germs and viruses he might have over the customers as they come and go. Occasionally there's a lovely surprise when a staff member is polite and friendly but most just grunt and shrug like they are inconvenienced by you shopping there. Other than that, meh, it's OK.

Wow. Honestly one of the best Tesco’s (if not shops) I have ever been to. I feel like it must be a top posting for Tesco employees, because only the friendliest, kindest and nicest people work there. Always service with a smile. And the selection of items! Thoughtful, wide ranging and very well priced. They literally have everything - often my housemates will ask where they should go to buy something and there is only one answer: Tesco Esso Express

When I first heard rumours of this Tesco Esso Express in Camden, I wasn't sure whether to believe the hype... I guess I didn't quite think one simple looking shop on the outside could have everything you would ever need on the inside.

I've now discovered the Tesco Esso Express and all it has to offer, and safe to say I will never shop anywhere else again. Its range of food, drink and comforting staff service warms me like a fluffy blanket.

Thank you to Mr and Mrs Tesco, Esso and Express - you have changed retail and revived the high street singlehandedly.
