Made in China with high prices, shop fittings are from the seventies , dowdy designs and colours.
The shop front and offices are in need of some tlc, as per photos

I don't know what this stores done to their self service checkouts, but they are incredibly un user friendly. These new ones are worse in every way compared to what used to be there. OK store apart from that...

Very good range of vegetables, fruits and meat, even some world food options. Bakery is slightly small.

Great service by Ruthvik and Megan at the Café.
Food served was warm and very tasty. Order was quickly taken care of.
Floors were clean and queue was properly managed.

A big thank you to Joseph who was a tremendous help. He listened, made suggestions, checked stock for us and went beyond any customer experience I have ever had in any store. Thank you very much for helping us in a very stressful time.

Broken lift, soap dispensers broken in all the toilets, speaking of which they’re all flooded with a mix of water and urine. It’s no wonder the high street is dying; and with good reason.

Maria and Jackie at Marks & Spencers St Albans excellent customer service both absolutely beautiful employees definitely keeps.

Just walking through this shop with my daughter today to get to my car where a Caucasian man says “we’re close”, I said I’m heading for the back entrance to leave, he says “be quick!” Bloody RUDE! Found out from staff he’s the manager..! Well he needs retraining… where goes he get off telling the customer to he quick… I’m a loyal customer who spends a lot in this store and with the customer many of these folks have no job!! It was 23rd October at around 16:55 to be sure who this might me. Very RUDE!
