My favourite branch of the Iceland chain especially for its convenient location and opening hours. Occupying the site of the former Woolworths, store stocks a good range of its own brand as well as branded products. Has some lines which are less expensive than the larger supermarket chains. Sometimes queues through the tills can be lengthy but nothing compared to larger supermarkets as shopping quantities will be smaller.

On Monday 17th of August I visited the store. Most staff were deliberately wearing masks wrong (not covering their noses, including the security guy) I felt disgusted as these are the people who are handling the foods you buy from that store. On my way out I came across this woman who wasn’t wearing a mask. When I asked her why she is not wearing a mask she replied with “I don’t wanna” with attitude and then asked me “is there a problem?” Not wanting to confront her further as she was clearly mental I took a photo of her so that I can write a formal complaint with proof. When she realised I took her photo she approached me and grabbed me from my sleeve and dragged me out of the store. The security guy came to stop her at which point I left the store. I have written to Iceland but have not heard back from them. Don’t go to that store unless you want to get sick. This woman should be fired immediately. I am now at home with symptoms and I will be suing Iceland and her personally soon.

Consistently shocking service at the checkouts. There are never enough staff and always long queues. It is clear the management are trying to run the place as thin on staff as possible to save money. Please do everyone a favour and install some self service checkouts if you don't want to pay for additional staff. There are constantly arguments at the checkouts because of this. This situation is no good for the staff or customers. If I got £1 for every time a member of staff apologised to me for the long queues I'd be richer than an oligarch. Kudos to most of the staff for being decent nice people. In general the store is pretty clean and well stocked so no issues there. Please just stop constantly moving the positions of all the items in store every 4 weeks or so. It is highly irritating and unecessary.

Low prices for quality products. Sometimes queues form too large to buy just three products. A good store for essentials.

If you're a fan of frozen food, then Iceland can be a great option for you given the variety they have. However, I personally find that they use up a lot of space for frozen food that I don't eat, which is why I'm not the biggest fan of this supermarket. Another downside is that there are no self-checkout options, so if you're looking to grab something quick, you'll need to queue or ask other people in front of you if it's okay to jump the queue. This might not be a big deal for big family shopping, but it's definitely something to keep in mind. All in all, Iceland is a decent supermarket, but there are definitely some things that could be improved.

Great shop but security constantly and publicly embarrassing treating me like a thief which I AM NOT was borderline decrimination

Good value, also a good selection. Caters for most tastes, cultural foods, etc etc 😋.
